What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an accountant?

Even though I am a chartered certified accountant, when I incorporated my limited company in 2016, I wanted someone independent to prepare and file my statutory accounts and tax returns. Steven was recommended to me by a colleague.

Advice and assistance on a wide ranging set of issues from Restructure of business via cash flow projections and assisting in ensuring our management accounts were a true reflection of the business's position through to full and frank advice on the methodology of company matters.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes we have secured funding and have a firm idea on how to manage the finances of the business going forwards with the re assurance of an accountant we can call on if we become unsure. It has been particularly helpful in the uncertain times we find ourselves in.

What could they have done better?

I cannot think of anything that could have been done any better. The actions were planned and kept to, the appointments took place on time every time and the advice was solid and they took time to explain if there was a lack of understanding.

Yes indeed, a very satisfactory outcome for all parties.

What could they have done better?

The only aspect that could maybe have occasionally been even better relates to actioning and follow-up of non-mandatory issues with authorities on my behalf. I recognise though that this is a shared responsibility that I could have chivied along more purposefully.

New start company in 2011.

How has Steven Glicher helped you?

I met Steven at a business networking event and found that the best environment to get to know someone bvetter and to understand how they could help us. He was also personally recommended to me. He arranged for the new company to be setup, incorporated and all the VAT and relevant tax work was dealt with, leaving me free to concentrate on the business.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, totally. I can call him at any time for help and advice and most often he will answer the phone himself. This means I get straight through to him to answer any questions that I may have. He is very contactable and approachable.

What could they have done better?

He has delivered everything expected and more so I can't think of any improvement and I would not hesitate in recommending him.

What could they have done better?

One of the issues I think with business planning and financial planning is accountability. If meetings were scheduled for follow ups to see if the company had hit targets or moved on decisions it would focus the business owner more to action. A more frequent dialogue in effect rather than meetings and services triggered by normal routines such as vat returns, tax returns etc.

Steven is a conscientious accountant and always seems like he just works for you. All his work is accurate. He is driven by trying to be different and offering training and tax planning by bringing specialist companies into help. If Steven doesn't know the answer he will always find the information and come back to me as soon as possible. He looks after our wages with great efficiency. No question or issue is too small or too big for Steven.

the only crtisicsim I have is that he doesn't work 24 hours a day !

How has Steven Glicher helped you?

Steven has been doing our accounts since we started 12 years ago. He gives us excellent value for money with his advise and skills in sorting out our yearly accounts, PAYE, all our personal tax and sorting any HMRC queries which would get us tied up for ages. He is normally always contactable for advise and help whenever we need him and on the odd occasion if he is out of the office seeing other clients Caron very helpful in dealing with any problems that we have regarding our QuickBooks accounting system. Steven has also recommended our company to many of this friends and companies he knows which is greatly appreciated.

We honestly can't think of how Steven could have done anything better to help us just keep on doing the excellent work.
