How has Matt Richards helped you?

I first met Matt at a seminar organised by UK Wealth Management in Coychurch, Bridgend. After several meetings with him I agreed to become a client of UKWM and remained so for about two years. My experience with UKWM after he left was less than satisfactory and consequently I started to look for a more suitable financial adviser. At this point I again made contact with Matt and after two meetings I was happy that he should again manage our investment portfolio. Matt is highly qualified financial adviser, has a high level of integrity and presents information in an honest and transparent manner. He also exhibits a caring approach that gives you confidence in what is being proposed and the subsequent steps that are undertaken. It was refreshing to receive advice in an honest and transparent manner.Not only is Matt highly qualified, he has a high level of integrity which was important to me as an individual having previously sought advice from someone who did not share this quality. I have found Matt to be an excellent financial adviser. He is very reliable, patient and easy to get on with. He is very professional but also takes a real interest in our family and helps us make plans with our priorities and personal goals in mind. He is very organised, easily contactable and has provided impressive results for us during the years we've been working with him. He explains things in a way that is easy to understand, gives us plenty of choice and has a vast knowledge base. Matt is very good at listening and absorbing what you tell him before giving advice. He is prepared to take as long as necessary to fully absorb your financial position and personal circumstances, attitude to risk, etc.He is always easily contactable.He constructed a SIPP for me which has performed very well over the last five years, delivering higher than expected income plus capital growth.His knowledge of pensions and pension laws etc is vast.

Matt spent a lot of time getting to know us as a family which then gave him a very good understanding of our needs. He has always given us first class advice on our investments while at the same time helping us to realise that we can relax and enjoy the benefits of our hard earned savings and pension pot and still feel secure that the investments he has helped us make will provide an income for the rest of our lives. He has helped us feel much more confident in our retirement. My husband has some health issues and Matt is very respectful of this and always makes sure he explains everything fully and in an easy to understand manner. Matt explains complex issues clearly without resorting to jargon, but with the use of meaningful examples to illustrate the points he is making. He is always planned and prepared for our meetings with any paperwork or documentation needed and uses his diary effectively to ensure continuity of advice. He has a most pleasant personality and we have been delighted to have been advised by him over a considerable period of time. We are very pleased with the results that he has achieved for us.

We would like to help with constructive suggestions but find it hard to put any forward.
