What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I wanted to retire at 60, but given I won’t receive my state pension until I’m 67, I was unsure if this was possible. Gareth listened to my reasons and advised how I could make this happen by transferring a pension which I was able to manage myself with Gareth’s support. Two + years later it was the best advice I could have received. My pension is continuing to meet my needs and expectations

Gareth listened to my reasons and advised how I could make this happen. He helped me to look at my options from all angles, the positives and the negatives. At no point was any pressure put on me, or did Gareth tell me what to do. All decisions were made by me. Two+ years after retiring, I can honestly say this support has helped me immensely. My pension has survived ups and downs, mainly the global covid 19 pandemic, and I’m still on course.

My outcome has been met and then some!!

Nothing. Gareth and his staff team go over and beyond their job in supporting their clients. I have recommended Gareth several times and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

My wish to retire early and the availability of a final salary pension from a previous employer and savings invested elsewhere.

How has Gareth Elliott helped you?

Gareth recognised my wishes and what would be required to bring them into play with the sums which I had available and the pension pot from my previous employer. He provided me with detailed valuations and forecasts for the future based on my portfolio and the present climate. He is very clear with his findings and does not "sugar coat" things to influence you or curry favour.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

At this stage I am very early into my investment but am very happy so far with the way things are progressing.

What could they have done better?

I am very pleased with Gareth's service so far and do not see any obvious way to improve this service at this time.
