A need to better understand how best to make use of a number of properties I own to enable me to pay off an interest only mortgage on my principal dwelling and to provide an ongoing income when I retire.

Tennielle was absolutely fantastic. I can't recommend her enough. As you can imagine, as first time buyers we didn't have a clue what we had to do to purchase our first house together. Tennielle kindly met with us - at an evening appointment which suited us as we both work. She ran through everything with us and recommended what we should do next. I was a bit overwhelmed by taking this huge step in my life and had been worried that this may not become possible for me to do. Down to earth, friendly and easy to get on with! CVould actually take this girl out for a night out and get on with her like you have known her for years! Made the complete remortgage process so stright forward for me I had nothing to do just wonder what I'd spend my extra £130 pound on each month! Would highly recommend anyone on the standard variable rate to contact Tennielle - when I went onto my lenders SVr it was lower than what I had been paying so though I was on a good thing until Tennielle let me see there was more to be saved! Laos changed my life, critical illnes and income protection to Tennielle - great service! Thank you.

Only too happy to provide a review for Tennielle. I find her to be the most professional yet friendly woman to have dealt with regarding my mortgage and protection arrangements. I have had a mortgage now for close to 20 years and have only recently been introduced to Tennielle and cannot fault her. Friendly, approachable and above all else professional. Having dealt with many firms and being sceptical when first met Tennielle as she appears quite young (although I now know she is just blessed with youthful good looks!) - this woman knows her stuff! I have learned so much with how to save money on my mortgage that I never knew despite all those years using advisers. My life and critical illness is written in trust and Tennielle is the only adviser in all those years who recommended this - knowing the importance of it now I wonder how this isn't mandatory for all advisers to arrange! She even pointed me in the right direction for my savings and my bank again - all round star! Have been passing your cards out all over the place :) Wee mention to Talsa too who never let a day go by without dripping me an email or contacting me to let me know the progress of my application - these two girls work phenomely well together! Excellent team!

For once in my life I can't give any constructive critism - well there is a frist for everything!

Tennielle was so approachable. I was really confused about what to do with my savings and how to make the best out of any spare money I had. Tennielle was able to advise me on all my options and give me sound, reliable advice. She made sure that I understood what options would work out in my favour. I found her to be very knowledgable about various financial areas such as mortgages and life insurance as she was able to advise me thoroughly on additional queries also. Tennielle definitely made finances a lot less daunting for me.Tennielle was really flexible allowing me to make appointments on days/times that suited me and always came back to me promptly with any queries I had. She is an all round professional, I will be using her services again in the future and would recommend her highly.

honestly Nothing, I wish there were more of Tennielle around and i'm delighted that she has now set up in my home town.

Tennielle helped me to buy my first home as well as purchase adequate life and home insurance. I am due to change products and Tennielle has already contacted me to discuss my options. Tenielle was fantastic. we were both made to feel very welcome and relaxed from the moment we walked in. We were nervous about getting a mortgage and Tenielle got us tea and biscuits! After searching the Internet to find us the best deal on the market, we had a mortgage approved before we knew it. Tenielle was very efficient and the whole transaction was extremely smooth. Even after everything Tenielle is still in contact with us to make sure everything is going well!

Tennielle goes that extra mile to ensure that she is getting you the best deal and value for money. In my case Tennielle searched all the lenders and had to approach them individually as due to my circumstances (separation and job change) some initially would not offer my mortgage until further information had been provided which Tennielle arranged. All her efforts paid off as I am due to complete on my house any day now. I liked the way bout Tennielle and her staff kept me up to date throughout the process.

Makes you feel at ease and can draw on her experience in dealing with a variety of customers and financial organisation to overcome any hurdles. I would say there is nothing she has not had to deal with while doing a mortgage from Not being on the electoral roll to missed catalogue payments to needing extra valuation reports. No matter how stressed out you may feel she will make you feel at ease and deal with the issue.

What could they have done better?

Possibly chase valuation etc on a regular basis or have a set time scale to follow up on the reports and provide this to the customer. As then I would not be disappointed if I had not had any news that day.

We first contacted Tennielle back in July 2014 when she was recommended to us by a friend of mine. We were interested in purchasing a house and we were first time buyers. Tennielle was so friendly and explained all our options in a simple way that we could understand. She gave us information and gave us time to go away and consider our options. There was never any pressure. Once we knew we were ready to proceed Tennielle worked very efficiently to make our house purchase possible. She kept in contact through every stage and was always at the other end of the phone if we had any questions. Our house purchase became quite complicated but nothing was too much bother for Tennielle. We have now successfully purchased a house, arranged life cover and taken out buildings and contents insurance with Tennielle. I would also like to mention Talsa who works in Tennielle's office as she is very helpful and friendly too. Overall a very professional service!

How has Tennielle McIlroy helped you?

I went to see Tennielle to help me with the maze of buying my first home - I knew I wanted to do it but I didn't have a clue where to start. Tennielle very simply let me know how much I could afford to borrow, what prices of houses I should be looking at and then made me aware of the process from start to finish right from viewing the houses and dealing with the estate agents through to getting a bid secured and dealing with the lender and solicitor. She kept me updated each stage of the way and in all honetsly I had very little to do. Everything was done under one roof which also made the whole process a lot easier. Would highly recommend Tennielle - she is very down to earth and very straight forward in the way she explains things and there is never anything she wasn't happy to do for me. I even know when I need to go back into see her for my remortgage! Thanks again!
