How has Nick Plumb helped you?

Mr Plumb took the trouble to explain to my wife and I what he was recommending and why. He was fully aware of our attitude to risk. We continue to be pleased with the performance of the investments he recommended and, on the odd occasion we have contacted him with a query, he has always been prompt in responding and extremely helpful. He has always made us fully aware of what his advice will cost.

What could they have done better?

As far as we are concerned we cannot fault the service he gives to us.

Nick explains financial matters in a way that makes them easy to understand, he was particularly patient when helping me to sort out the range of options available for annuities. He made sure I understood all the options available to me. I felt he understood what my financial needs were and his advice was relevant. When discussing investments he assessed my attitude to risk and ethical issues and gave information and advice accordingly. Charges and fees for services were made clear from the. His manner is friendly but always professional.

What could they have done better?

For the advice I needed I don't think there was anything he could have done better.

I first became aware of Nick Plumb through a column he wrote in a local publication. I was impressed with his clarity and knowledge of the financial situation. Ministers of Religion like myself are not great earners yet Nick took the time to deal with our situation effectively and proved extremely helpful. He is very friendly, does his research well and I believe has the highest integrity.

He does everthing well, and all ways summarises at the end of our meetings, followed up by a printed report.

What could they have done better?

This is a difficult question because I am more than satisfied with the service that he gives. If on the odd occassion I have a question that he cannot immediatley answer he will endevour to resolve my query and all ways gets back to me with an answer which he can explain to my satisfaction.

From the very first meeting Nick Plumb not only understood our financial situation and needs, but gave us excellent t advice and has continued to do so every since. He is always readily available if you require advice and ensure you completely understand his suggestions. However he is never what I would call 'pushy' giving you ample time to consider options and suggestions. I could not recommend him more highly.

My first consultation with Nick Plumb was in January 2014 after being told by my bank that they no longer provide financial advice unless you have more than £100,000 in investments. I had been investing with them since 2001 and therefore felt very insecure about my savings as I had recently retired and only receiving a basic state pension and was worried about my financial future. I found Nick to be easy to talk to and he very quickly understood my savings and investments. His advice made sense to me and my husband and straight away I felt as though a load had been taken off my shoulders. He has now arranged for me to receive a monthly income from my savings and also have been able to put some money aside for home improvement. I find him and his secretary Lucy friendly and very professional at all times. He is easy to contact and always has time to answer any questions you might have. I feel confident that his advice will be beneficial to my future finances.
