Had more than one pension so wanted advice as to whether they needed to be merged together as am 56 and needed to review for my retirement and also had savings which were not earning anything so again needed a plan for a better return on money to plan for retirement.

Martin reviewed our needs and organised what needed to be done with pensions and arranged products for our savings. He was very knowledgeable and approachable and we did not feel rushed into making any decisions.

Initially I was reviewing my pension provision as I have recently changed jobs and needed to commence a new personal pension. I took the advise of the Government website for pensions and had the contact made via their approved advisor scheme.

Martin has undertaken a comprehensive review of my current pensions and the likely impact of my current arrangements. He is in the process of making adjustments on my behalf which will hopefully ensure that the investments will improve and provide additional funds as I near retirement age. Martin has also reviewed mortgage insurance premiums with cost savings being provided and we will look at my mortgage provision in the next 12 months.

I would have preferred to have discussed potential fees prior to first meeting with Martin though was made aware of them on my second visit. I disagreed with his suggestion I should invest in bonds though as a cautious investor I would always favour investing in property. His proposals made sense though due to personal circumstances I will not be acting in them. Martin Beaver is a breath of fresh air when it comes to financial advisors. Smartly dressed Martin was younger than expected though do not be put off by his age as he is clearly very knowledgeable in his field. Martin is a very pleasant gentleman with a good sense of humour though his professional approach is maintained during appointments. He is patient and makes his clients feel valued.

We had some savings to invest and wanted a better profit margin than we would get with normal high street banks and building societies.

Firstly, we had made a bad investment and required advice on how to rescue the situation. We also needed to know how best to proceed to secure our financial future.

I first approached Martin in October 2016, to discuss my financial situation, and with the intention to retire early from my 45 years in the motor trade. Long story cut short, I have now been using his service for almost two years, and I DID retire in April 2017 (at the age of 61). I am more than pleased with Martins' advice and assistance these past 18 months, and would recommend his services to anyone, without hesitation.

We are both currently fully employed. We have put our trust in Martin and discussed at length our options. In terms of outcome we agreed the way forward which is presently being implemented

In terms of presentation there doesn't appear to be anything that springs to mind he could have done better. Maybe a little farther down the line something may become evident but to date all is well

Martin has been particularly adept at understanding our current financial situation with regards to investments and life cover, which was long overdue a good spring clean. He has reviewed this with us over a number of face to face meetings. As a result of these meetings he has advised us on a way forward in order to maximise benefits and returns, in order to achieve our long term goal. He is extremely approachable and easy to get on with. Under no circumstances at all have we felt pressured to follow any of his recommendations.
What could they have done better?
Nothing comes to mind, just to continue offering the excellent friendly service that we have become accustomed to.

How has Martin Beazer helped you?
Young adviser with a good knowledge of personal finance. Doesn't do the hard sell which is important in this line of business. Most people are very cautious when it comes to someone planning their investments and being responsible for growth. Martin, in conjunction with Cofunds, provide an acceptable service and return on investment. Th Risk Ranking is a good system and will suit differing clientele.
What could they have done better?
I have a basic working knowledge of markets and interest rates, and Martin's expertise is good to hear. Having done the explanation of initial investments I think the on-going financial advice could be trimmed slightly and possibly Cofunds paperwork reduced. Martin keeps in touch and does an annual review which is important to me and any changing financial circumstance. He is wise enough to know I do not need any other hard sell of life assurance etc.

Gives sound financial advice based on actual performance statistics of an average of his client's investments. He has an informal presentation which makes for a relaxed feeling of wellbeing. Often FA's can be officious and inclined to be in a different world. He did not promise the earth but so far the results have been in line with expectations and after the FA and Investment Co annual percentage charges I should still well beat Cash ISA or Bond/Bank rates of interest.

A great guy!” Mrs JH, Accountant - South Wales "Martin was engaged to identity and administer a company pension scheme, and where requested provide IFA services to the staff of our PLC. No pension scheme existed as this was a start up. The service provided by Martian went beyond our expectations. He identified a number of suitable pension schemes and supported myself and the senior team to pick which was more suitable for our staff. At the point of staff joining the scheme, Martin met each individually and talked them through the scheme. He also provided advice on existing schemes held by staff and where requested transferred the existing scheme into the new scheme. Martin provided a first class service to staff. All meetings took place on an individual basis and nothing was too much trouble for him. Staff built up a good relationship with Martin and all feedback which I have received has been very positive. I would certainly engage Martin again if required.

I have dealt with martin for the last 2 years and more than happy to recommend him.I needed to sort out a few issues with my finances such as pensions investments etc. I found speaking to him very easy and relaxing. Finance is way beyond me, but having just retired I needed to sort my money out . Martin is very patient and plain speaking and I understood everything I discussed with him. I went to see a few people regarding my money but couldn't understand any of them, he gave me very sound advise and allowed me time to digest it all. My money is growing very nicely, Happy days!

I don't feel martin could have done anything better for me I am more than satisfied with the way he has invested my very hard earned cash!.
