How has James Mercer helped you?

After having numerous dealings with James and using his expertise to help start and build a property portfolio I have noticed a few key areas that James is particularly good in. Firstly I would say communication is one of his strong points as he always keeps me updated through the entire process from start to finish. Always making himself available to help advise me when needed. Secondly I would say knowledge in his field as through the regular contact I have had with James he has been able to educate me greatly and I feel more confident with the information James has shared with me. This area he excels in as he has always ensured that I have been given the correct or most suitable product for my needs. Lastly I would say the simplicity and peace of mind that I have from dealing with James. Some advisors have a great ability to over complicate matters and stray away from what it is the client is actually wanting or looking for. I have had none of this from my dealings with James, and that is why I always recommend his services to all, friends and family as I know they will also receive the high quality service I have enjoyed for along time.

What could they have done better?

I cannot criticise James for any of his previous work at all, but if I had to say one thing. I would say his thoroughness. Unfortunately I am one of those individuals that wants things done yesterday, as i often make quick and often erratic decisions. James does like to know all the relevant information and factors before giving me his professional advice and this does take time. This May result in an extra day or twos wait which previously could be frustrating, but I have come to learn that it is always better to wait for the correct advice than act on impulse or worse the incorrect advice. I have James to thank for making sure I do not form part of the latter.

My wife and I went to James very early on in our efforts to buy our first house. From the moment we first met with him and talked things through it was quite apparent that employing his services would be massively beneficial in the purchase process. Although we suffered some setbacks at the early stages, James talked us through them and was always thinking ahead to how we might progress. It was largely with James' direction and knowledge that we were able to move ahead, find a property that we fell in love with and make a successful purchase. The mortgage that James located on our behalf was exactly what we were looking for and was organised for us by him in a timely manner. In addition, his refered solicitor proved to be a very good, efficient and speedy firm, worthy of his referal. I now own a wonderful home and can't thank James enough for his help and support. I would honestly say that utilising James' services was invaluable in terms of reducing the stress levels associated with purchasing a property. His honest advice and calming demeanour made a huge difference to us. I would not think twice about going to James for assistance again. I found the costs and breakdown of them to be simple and very reasonable. Having said that, I'd add this: whatever it costs - believe me, it's worth it.

I honestly don't have a bad word to say.

Absolute pro at what he does is all I can say. I asked him to do a job and he done it very well. Thank you James'. Some times you need someone to go that lil bit extra and he done that' proper family man proper pro. Times are hard but they can be made easier

How has James Mercer helped you?

Well i must say that James really knows his stuff, after having vearious conversations about my Mortgage, Pension and Healthcare plan, find that he is very knowledgeable in all these areas, and also in his chosen are of profession as a financial advisor. He takes time to explain things i don't understand, he is always there if i need further advise about my pension etc, he makes himself available if necessary. James has recently helped me to rent my flat by giving me good advise and also putting me intouch with a good agency, he has helped me to regain a pension lump sum from a previous employer, this is just how exprience he is in these areas and i'm sure he knows much more, you just need to try him and he will suprise you.

What could they have done better?

Not much, i am very pleased with the help and advise that i received from James, i find him to be very sopportive and that makes me feel that he is some one that i can rely on.

I was interested in family protection and Got in touch with James Mercer. I wasn't sure on all the different things & James made it so easy for me to understand. He was very friendly & made me feel very comfortable & made sure I understood everything fully before he set it up for me. I didn't find him like other sales people I actually felt valued & would defiantly recommend to family. Great service.
