My advisor completely understands my investment goals and attitude to risk, he is very approachable and available and promptly researches any new investment approaches I enquire about. I get a regular quarterly review of my investments and an annual breakdown of what's working and what's not.

Always kept informed of global events likely to impact the world financial markets and institutions. Information given in a clear, concise and non-jargonistic manner.Should clarification be necessary able to discuss. My portfolio is under constant scrutiny and review. Identified opportunities which are considered likely to meet my investment criteria and increase my wealth have been well researched, evaluated and then presented to me as a wealth enhancing option. I enjoy a magnificent client/adviser relationship and overall Andrew has delivered his investment straegy.

What could they have done better?

Nothing. However, as a non-lover of the digital age passwords and the like to access information are a pain!!

How has Andrew Chorley helped you?

Andrew and his colleague at Financial Planning Wales wanted to meet with me for an initial chat to determine if I would be a good fit for the service that they offered. I was impressed with that they gave me some initial advice, for free and were keen to develop a relationship with me. They took copious notes and followed up with a good summary email despite there being no pressure to proceed with the financial review. The review was undertaken in a timely manner and fully met my expectations in terms of its scope. I had a number of minor comments that Andrew was happy to incorporate into the review, which was then reissued. I felt that he had responded well and that the service offered excellent value for money. In addition Andrew identified a commission payable from my bonds that could be refunded to me and amounted to around half of the cost of their service.

What could they have done better?

The first issue of the report was not 100% in that they had been unable to obtain the current balance of my cash ISA. The figure that had been entered into their calculator therefore delivered a negative yearly result (obviously not possible in an ISA where no funds had been withdrawn). I felt that he should have come to me earlier to identify this issue and I could have obtained the balance myself, allowing the report to be issued with correct information.

The recommendations that Andrew made for me were different for the different parts and were tailored to my needs. He has been extremely clear in his advice and in the steps necessary to pull it all together.

His approach is friendly and he gives us regular updates and information. We feel he is very aware of the current climate and has worked on different scenarios considering our position and is therefore in a good position to act on them when he considers the time is right. The information given to us is straight forward and easy for us to understand. He is easy to contact if we have any worries or our position changes. All in all we are getting value for Money and have no complaints and have every confidence in him.
