How has Ian Hunt helped you?

They provide a very detailed annual review of my requirements and an excellent choice of investments to match my level of risk. Visits to Ian's office are always a pleasure and staff are very helpful and efficient. Correspondance seems to be kept to a minimum.

What could they have done better?

The only criticism relates to a specific request to withdraw funds, when there was some misunderstanding about timing. I believe this was an isolated incident. I cannot suggest any areas that could be improved regarding my financial affairs.

Provide some alternatives - we have gone with a product, which seemed great at the time, but I'm left wondering whether we could have got a better deal from an alternative provider. I'm not saying that we could have, but it is always good to benchmark

He ensures our wealth is appropriately invested and has managed our portfolio such that as we are getting older and probably in less need for major increases in the value of our "pot" a far more less risky approach has been taken. He understands our needs and family requirements. He has a great memory! When asked below for Ian's best quality I could have picked almost every one of them! Very talented!

What could they have done better?

I would like him to suggest the odd "guarranteed" punt as I still like a little gamble! The fee structure is simple and it's easy to keep track of costs. However, we are more than satisfied with all aspects of Ian's services.

How has Ian Hunt helped you?

Responds immediately to any query we have about our rather complicated finances and is always available - we never have to wait more than 24 hours for a response. If he is away then his excellent assistant will answer with the appropriate advice and information. He is proactive i.e. he reviews our portfolios in the light of market developments and make sure we are informed about possible risks and how to minimise them. He is extremely well informed about the markets, about fund managers and their strengths and weaknesses and about the financial regulations.

What could they have done better?

Ian suits us so well it is hard to think of anything he could do better. I suppose ideally I would prefer to receive less paper but I understand that it is a legal requirement and he does supply an intelligible summary. His paperwork is well presented and the annual review is very useful.
