A pleasure to talk to and very informative with a very approachable manner. Chris gave us good advice and at no time did he try to 'sell' us anything. He offered help and guidance that was far beyond what we had experienced with Financil Advisers in the past. Can definitely recommend him!

I have had an initial free meeting with Chris and was very Impressed. He presented everything clearly and understood my requirements very well. I found him very easy to talk to and the meeting lasted 3 hours during which he went through my finances thoroughly and outlined the options and we agreed the direction to take. I have used financial advisers in the past and wish I had come across Chris sooner as I have confidence in him and would recommend him to anyone needing financial advice.

I am concerned about the ethical standing of charging "up to 100%" of a regular contribution. This means people with less to invest end up being unable to invest even what little they can afford due to fees. Chris explains that the services cost the same no matter the amount, but that only attracts the question of why they don't just charge fixed rates then. But I appreciated very much the way Chris handled what were difficult questions to answer, particularly as there is no ethically defensible position to take on charging the poorer a higher percentage fee if the service is the same for any amount.

Chris was prompt, open and very clear about what he could offer and what we would be charged. He was very trustworthy and knowledgeable on the subject. He put us at ease quickly so he could focus on what we needed. I liked the fact that the first meeting was a no charge / no obligation arrangement as it developed trust on both sides leading to a better quality discussion.

How has Chris Watson helped you?

Chris explained things very clearly making things easy to understand, I didn't feel as if I was being made to take out a policy that was unnecessary and not suitable for me. His help with my mortgage also was above and beyond the call of duty in my opinion, it can be a mine field and daunting for people like me but Chris was very helpful and a really very nice too.

Chris provided us an excellent service for setting up a Inheritance Trust. He was genuinely independent and objective in his advice, knowledgeable, diligent and efficient, and up-front in pointing out problems and potential difficulties as they arose. He was also very good value for the quality of he the advice he was able to offer. I fund him very easy to deal with, and came to trust his advice. I would strongly recommend him to other potential private investors.

Chris has looked after our investments for many years and luckily for us was particularly astute to restructure our portfolio so we survived the downtown unscathed. How has Chris Watson helped you?

A confession - I've known Chris for many years. However this means that I know whether to trust his advice or not - I wouldn't use him if I didn't. Initially I approached Chris about my portfolio of BTL mortgages. He spent some time looking at them and concluded I was best staying where I was. My pension was also reviewed and for various reasons I was advised to move to a new provider. I gave Chris a hard time asking some quite complex questions, which he happily answered - either then or after he had done some research. As a result it transpired that the initial choice for a new pension wasn't the best for me, and another was chosen. He also arranged a new life policy for me. Very happy with Chris' professional and no-pressure approach. I just hope in 15 years time that I made the right decision :)
