Please provide a brief comment about your experience with Wayne

I contacted Wayne with regards to legacy planning for my parents, we had a number of questions and were looking for reassurance of our current understanding of the process. I have to say that Wayne was friendly, reassuring and a fountain of knowledge on the subject. Wayne is excellent at establishing a rapport with his clients an making them feel at ease whilst providing confidence in the advice given, at no point was there any pressure to employ Wayne's services and his opinions and advice were unbiased and never loaded. It was a refreshing throwback to the days when good customer service and the interests of the client were placed above anything else. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Wayne to any of my friends or family and there is only one place I will go when I next need financial advice. Excellent Service

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We needed a re-mortgage on our residential house. We also needed to re-mortgage our buy to let property. We then needed to port our residential mortgage ready for when we move house.

How has Wayne Griffiths helped you?

We were given expert advice on which was the most suitable mortgage for both our residential and our buy to let property. We were also given very useful financial advice and guidance on how much we could afford when looking to buy a new property. We then needed to port our mortgage to our new residential property, and this was handled swiftly and we were informed of the progress at every stage to help things move efficiently when purchasing our new property.

Yes! There was a lot to organise because everything fell at similar times, but we were given great advice from the team and it was all handled efficiently.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Prior to talking to Wayne, I had a pension adviser who I had been working with for nearly 20 years and with whom I was very satisfied. They were a small independent company that got taken over and the adviser(s) I knew all left. I was confronted with a much younger guy who, putting this simply, was a fee chaser and was saying things that made me very uncomfortable. After speaking with a friend and neighbour, I was given Wayne's contact details and at the very first meeting, I was hugely reassured that I was talking to someone very much like my original pension advisers, someone entirely trustworthy who was out to do the best he could for me and my wife. His advice since then has been well-thought out and I am extremely confident of a good working relationship with One Financial Solutions in general and Wayne in particular.

How has Wayne Griffiths helped you?

Wayne and his colleagues undertook a detailed review of my wife's and my pension arrangements / funds, providing recommendations on alternative funds to invest in and facilitating the withdrawal of funds from an investment bond to pay off the mortgage. The advice received so far has been extremely well presented and reasoned, it was immediately obvious why we were receiving the specific advise we were and it made decision making very easy.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes. The various transfers we discussed have all been accomplished with minimal effort and we were able to successfully pay off the mortgage in November, which was awesome. Obviously, it is still early days and we have yet to see the results of the various fund transfers but Wayne and his colleagues have so far done a fantastic job and we are extremely pleased with One Financial Solutions - it was a huge relief meeting Wayne after the uncomfortable meeting with our previous adviser.

What could they have done better?

I am not sure it could have been done better - possibly slightly quicker but these things take time and we wanted to get the best possible strategy in place for our future so I really don't have any massive suggestions here. We were both delighted with the service we received, it has been a huge relief and pleasure working with Wayne and his colleagues so far.

I had two pensions in different places and wanted to bring them together and also be able to review them in an easy and user friendly way whenever i liked. I was also unhappy with the way one of the pensions was set up.

Wayne helped me bring the two pensions together, handled all of the administration and set things up so that i could easily review the performance. He was also generous with his time, gave me perspective on the bigger picture of how my pension effected other aspects of my financial circumstances. He also offered to help with an historic issue of financial mismanagement that i was a victim of.

Due to a divorce, I needed someone to discuss my financial matters with before and after the event took place. Wayne Griffiths with his team were able to help on a wide range of topics with top notch advice.
