What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We approached Ginny many years ago when we were first starting our financial planning. Over the years we have come back to her as out circumstances have changed to make sure we were always best protected.

How has Ginny Kooner helped you?

Ginny is very knowledgeable and approachable advisor. She takes her time to understand your financial concerns/needs so she can best advise you. She gives the information in easy to undertand language and makes sure you are always comfortable with the advice she had given. I have used her for many years, will continue to do so and can highly recommended her to all.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Ginny has always delivered. Her investment advice has provided returns that have out-performed the markets.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Looking for a better way to invest savings that were held in a savings account attracting little interest. Wanting to start investing in a private pension to augment state and company pension schemes.

How has Ginny Kooner helped you?

Profile me for risk appetite and recommended potential investment types based on the outcome. Guided me through options, pros & cons, and the approaches to investment management that would be used; also explained the risks and clearly answered any related questions. Arranged agreed investments and has managed these ever since.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes. I've been very happy with how my investments has performed compared to the overall stock market.

What could they have done better?

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We weren't happy with our IFA as we had no contact from them so we decided to change.

How has Ginny Kooner helped you?

She looked at our current and future investments and after assessing us and our risk category she recommended new 'platforms' and thoroughly explained all the pros and cons and why she'd selected them. It was all done in a very confident, friendly and efficient manner. The promise of a 6 month review and annual reviews after that are very appealing and important to us.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

It's too early to tell yet.

What could they have done better?

No, I genuinely think that Ginny covered all aspects that we were hoping for and is aware of other advice that we will benefit from further down the line. Overall she's a good listener and certainly appears to have delivered what we asked for.

I received some money as part of an inheritance.

How has Ginny Kooner helped you?

She helped me by first understanding my circumstances and then establishing exactly what I hoped to achieve by employing her services. She then outlined the options available to me in terms of my level of risk and she was very helpful in terms of explaining all I needed to know. She also took the time to make sure I had grasped all the issues. I asked many questions and she answered them all fully and carefully so I felt confident that my choices were sound.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

To date all is going to plan and everything has been dealt with very efficiently. I have been able to contact her very easily to clarify one or two points. Documentation arrived promptly and I am very happy with all aspects of the service.

What could they have done better?

I cannot think of anything which could have been done better. I would recommend her with confidence. I acted on previous recommendations which I read online and which I can now wholeheartedly endorse.

Ginny was extremely professional, listening carefully to my situation and asking relevant questions to clarify my needs. Unfortunately in preparing my financial statements for the meeting with Ginny it had become apparent to me that I was already in a good financial position and did not need a financial advisor. Ginny was careful to ensure she had all the relevant information before agreeing with me.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I found myself in the position of having some money and not having to do with it.

How has Ginny Kooner helped you?

Ginny was very approachable , friendly and explained everything very simply for me without being condescending. Within half an hour of the initial meeting she was able to summarise exactly what I was looking for. She correctly assessed my status as a nervous investor , not wanting to invest in high risk options , which was confirmed by the questionnaire completed later. Everything was then summarised in an email , so I had chance to mull it over, and no action was taken until a further meeting during which she happily went over it all again. There was no pressure from her and the offer of a meeting after 6 months to review the investments , reassured me.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I will know more after the 6 month review , but I trust Ginny to manage my investments and get the best returns for my future.

I was initially given Ginnys details via a friend and have now known Ginny for a number of years. She helped me with my pension plans and she helped me to choose the right investment funds. When I needed to decide on how to take my pension benefits she advised and guided me on the correct annuity choice for me. She explains things in a easy manner which I have always struggled to understand via my bank. I trust Ginny for the impartial advice she always gives.

I am a retired Police Officer and wanted help with my pension and savings, I was put intouch with Ginny and discussed various plans for the future with regard to my cash, having taken advise from other banks and societies and not understood their "jargon" I was pleased that Ginny put it in such a way that I and my wife understood, it was refreshing to know that plans could be discussed at my level and the good thing about chatting to Ginny over a cpl of meetings was , she wasnt all about how much have you got we want it all, we all discussed what was good and what could be done with my cash. Ginny outlined the best possible plan , in my opinion and the good thing is she has spread it over a number of investments which if one goes belly up then all is not lost. Ginny took her time on our initial meetings to get the best possible outcome and now visits every 6 months to let us know how our investments are doing, having said that she is also on the end of a phone and willing to chat at a moments notice if needed, I have rang her up a cpl of times with questions and she has always answered them fully. She is a very good advisor , so much so we have recomended her to a cpl of our friends.

What could they have done better?

There is only one point that I would like to bring up and that is a meeting every 3 months instead of 6 to discuss the financial plans ie how good are there doing , how bad are they doing. Having said that I know that Ginny would contact us by phone should anything on plans need changing so i can sort of see where she is comming from when she says meeting are every 6 months.
