How has Brian Butcher helped you?

Brian has looked after the financial interests of myself, my family and my business for the best part of 20 years. During that time there has never been a time where his help and support have not been first class. Importantly Brian is a great guy with a conscience, he deals openly and honestly, and will go to the ends of the earth to save you a penny.

What could they have done better?

I would like to see more of Brians blogs and advice as we find them a useful tool and something we pass on to people we deal with and know.

How has Brian Butcher helped you?

Brian has helped us plan for retirement for many years. Now we have taken retirement all our finances have achieved there targets and more. Brian has been responsive to any queries and has helped give us an understanding at our level. He has always been very approachable and helpful. Now we have taken retirement he organises reviews which gives us opportunities to relook and evaluate our porfolio, to make sure it is up to date and meets our current needs. He gives us updates of new initiatives and policies.

How has Brian Butcher helped you?

I have worked with Brian in both for business and personal and highly commend his knowledgeable and genuine approach. Over the 10+ years I have know and worked with Brian I have never once been anything other than thoroughly impressed the service he provides. The biggest complement I can ever give to Brian is that I recommend him highly to all my friends and family. A couple of years ago I sent my then soon to retire mother to gain advice and support from Brian and our only regret is that this wasn't something we did sooner. Simply put Brian is one of the good guys who I trust implicitly!

What could they have done better?

Genuinely can not think of how the service could be improved - He does like the odd bad shirt....

Talks in plain English without the jargon concentrating on what's important to me. Brian has a good sense of humour and I always feel comfortable with him, he genuinely seems to care that he's giving the right advice & recommendations for me and I never feel I'm being pushed or coerced into making decisions. I have no hesitation in recommending Brian to friends or relatives and would say to anyone looking for a good financial adviser " speak to Brian"

How has Brian Butcher helped you?

I have a reasonable knowledge of financial issues (That's only my opinion). So I put my own ideas forward whenever we meet. What Brian does extremely well is to point out my little senior moments (that would certainly have cost me money), without denting my ego. After that he guides me gently back onto the more beneficial path and accepts my explanation, with a patient smile, that I was just testing him.

What could they have done better?

Nothing really. Other than give me a slap now and again when I'm not paying attention.

How has Brian Butcher helped you?

Brian is a comprehensive and well prepared advisor. He works hard to genuinely understand me as a client, making suggestions, offering alternatives and challenging my thinking on my plans. He is very adaptable and flexible in his approach and remains calm where personal priortities may be changing, as they are doing for me right now. It is good to know that you have someone alongside who is supporting the achievement of the personal financial goals I have and provides the technical knowledge to get me there.

What could they have done better?

I live down south wheresas Brian is based in the North so at times, the distance can lead to us not corresponding, communicating as regularly as we could. This is easily rectified and requires a commitment from both me as client articulating my needs better and Brian responding appropriately.
