What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was just about to retire and needed help with my options.

How has Douglas Harley helped you?

He listened to what we wanted and quickly understood what was important to us. He then explained all our options in detail and made it sound simple. The cashflow forecast he did for us was especially helpful, as it let us better understand our financial position.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes we are very happy with the advice given.

We were both retiring and needed a full review of our situation.

He did a very in depth financial review for us that set out all our options. This was really helpful, especially with the work pension which we initially thought was going to be a difficult decision.

Yes. We are really happy with our new portfolio and the fact we now have someone we can trust looking after us.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was looking to release money from my pension pot and invest the remainder whilst continuing to work.

How has Douglas Harley helped you?

His advice was invaluable and put my mind at ease . A report was carried out and advice was given on my options as well as the risks involved. He was very informative and easy to communicate with.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes although i will be seeing Douglas in the future for updates and advice .

Douglas is very professional, yet friendly and approachable. From our pensions to our investments, Douglas has worked on our behalf to provide us with the best returns possible. Douglas explains financial terms to us laymen in a way that takes all the fear out of consulting a financial advisor. I have known Douglas before he set up business himself. He is friendly,honest, trustworthy and a true professional. I trust him implicitly. He is always thorough - he always keeps a confidential complete record of details updates them so that he can assess the financial picture accurately. He never sells anything or recommends products unless it is what is either requested or needed. Truly an honest advisor. At the outset he explains the charges which may be incurred - what the paperwork may entail and the timescale the process may take. He helps with this and always keeps in touch to give regular updates whether it be by telephone email etc. Douglas and his team are always helpful no matter how trivial an enquiery or problem may be. I trust Douglas implicitly with any financial matter. Douglas has been there for me and my family throughout a very difficult emotional time and helped us to resolve financial matters so that we could start to get our life back to a 'normal' way without the hassle of paperwork that insurance or pension companies required. He dealt with everything and we thank him for that. Recommend him? Most definitely!
