How has David Brigham helped you?

Gives expert advice and guidance in the financial areas I am concerned with. Explains matters thoroughly in easy to understand language. Does not try to force you into decisions you might not be comfortable or happy with. Keeps in constant contact with regular reviews of changing financial circumstances. Replies promptly to queries by e-mail.

What could they have done better?

I honestly cannot think of anything. I shall always be grateful the way he reorganised my finances after my wife died

How has David Brigham helped you?

David has an excellent overall knowledge of all financial matters. For the more specialist areas (e.g. private medical insurance) he can call upon a network of trusted associates. I particularly like his 'mind map' which puts all your assets, liabilities, personal goals and obligations on one piece of paper - very helpful indeed. I also like his lifetime cash flow model which I think of as the 'am I going to run out of money before I die' spreadsheet!!

How has David Brigham helped you?

Being able to listen first and then formulate possible ideas and options that fit the client 's needs rather than launching into the selling of products has to be a key requisite of any good Financial Advice offering. This fundamental way of operating supported by demonstrable expertise and knowledge across a diverse portfolio of services makes a complex subject more understandable for the average clients like my wife and I. Trust becomes more relevant in these times of austerity and "banker bashing" and so proven results is a key to making the relationship one for the longer term and this is something David Brigham works hard to preserve.

What could they have done better?

For us this is a little difficult as the relationship has been long term and suits our need, however, clients should not be afraid nor complacent in asking what might seem silly questions and thus as the advisor continue to work on help clients with their understanding using lay mans language as much as possible.
