What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We needed help finding the right mortgage for us as it was our first house and we didn't know where to start.

How has Peter Catton helped you?

Peter helped and explained our best options in finding a mortgage. He gave us lots of help and advice and more than one choice when it came to selecting the right mortgage.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes. We were successful with our application and are happy home owners.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

My partner and I were purchasing buy to let properties.

How has Peter Catton helped you?

Peter initially met with us at our home to get to know us and understand exactly what we were looking for and what our overall plans and motivations were. This enabled Peter to advise us accurately and appropriately and seek the mortgage product most suited to our needs.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

We have probably achieved more than we could have hoped for at the outset. Peter has guided us along the way providing us with up to date market information and the best products available. What we have come to appreciate is the level of communication. Peter is quick to respond to calls and emails and during applications he monitors closely the progress bing made and intervenes promptly if and when problems arise.

What could they have done better?

Nothing comes to mind as we have always been very happy with the outcomes achieved from Peter's advice.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We needed to remortgage and change ownership of the property by removing one existing member from a joint mortgage and adding a new member. In this process we also needed to raise money for an extension and internal renovations. We did not have the time to do our own research and find the best mortgage rate out there and also needed guidance on how best to approach the situation. It is not our area of expertise, so needed someone we could trust to guide us through the process.

How has Peter Catton helped you?

Peter found us a mortgage with a lower rate than we were on and helped us raise the money needed for our extension / renovations. He helped us understand the short term and longer term implications of our particular mortgage and raised our awareness of the need for insurance on our mortgage and critical illness.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

We obtained a good rate on our mortgage and was able to release equity in the property to build our extension. We also have insurance in place to provide our family with some degree of financial security for the future.

What could they have done better?

We were extremely happy with the advice and work Peter did for us. He was proactive and regularly updated us on progress. Peter was really flexible with us and all our meetings took place on an evening outside of work hours. Very professional yet personable and we would highly recommend him to our friends and family.

Peter was absolutely fantastic in providing us with all available information, all available options for us and his advise of what would be most suitable for our circumstances. How has Peter Catton helped you?

Peter is a fantastic finanical adviser. We have used his services for mortgage and remortgage applications. He explains everything clearly and is always available for help and guidance. He is also extremely honest and will offer advice even if the best option is a provider which does not accept applications from financial advisers. Previously I also looked for and applied for mortgages myself but after using Peter's services I will not go back to managing everything personally.
