Caroline was very professional and explained everything in great detail. She saw opportunities that I had not even thought of. I feel a lot more relaxed about how to invest my savings and pensions.

How has Caroline Anstee helped you?

Caroline gives clear and easily understandable advice. She really listens to what you say, is sympathetic to your personal circumstances and adapts her advice accordingly with a human touch whilst maintaining a professional demeanour. I have confidence in her professionalism experience and knowledge. We were rather nervous of getting financial advice but Caroline made it a pleasant experience during which all our questions were answered and at the end we felt really confident that we had done the right thing with the right advisor.

What could they have done better?

Nothing. Couldn't improve fro the excellent service already delivered.

How has Caroline Anstee helped you?

Caroline is very very accessible, she is prepared to meet me outside normal 'working hours' and in my home which I find really helpful. She gives really clear non-patronising advice. She has supported me to get my financial affairs in order and has been particularly supportive during difficult personal times. Caroline is happy to respond to my queries and questions however small or large and is a pleasure to work with - she makes sorting my financial affairs something I do rather than put off.

What could they have done better?

Just occasionally it would be helpful if Caroline follows up actions more speedily following our meetings - I am very aware though that it is often me that delays things because of work pressures

How has Caroline Anstee helped you?

Caroline herself came to give a full financial review for my wife and myself. She went through all aspects of our finances and dealt with each one in turn and made sure we understood as we went along and answered anything we were not sure about. She then took away all the details she needed and came back with a plan she thought would work best for us. We then went through the plan which was excellent and agreed we would act on her advice. Which has since proven to have been first class.

What could they have done better?

As far as we are concerned we have been completely satisfied with everything in all aspects

Caroline is personable, approachable, down to earth and friendly. She doesn't use jargon - she explains everything fully and is very good at ensuring that forward planning is a collaborative process. Caroline makes me feel that my finances really do matter to her - and never makes me feel that my questions are too small for her to consider properly.

She gives a truly personal service. All of the products she has arranged for us suit us exactly and take into account our long term and short term needs, our wish to invest ethically, the level if risk we want to take and our occasional need to change things. She will do all this from a distance or face to face, travelling to meet us, and always keeps us fully informed. She doesn't mind that we contact her for updates and is generally helpful, friendly and efficient, as are all her staff we have dealt with. We were very wary of using an IFA at first, but are now very grateful that we sought Caroline's advice. She showed me possibilities I had not thought of.

How has Caroline Anstee helped you?

Caroline has been handling my finances for me since my divorce when I needed to reinvest my share of my ex's pension fund and divorce sett5lement. She showed me possible options and advised me to defer investing in an annuity as she felt (correctly) that they would be looked at in future budgets and that the necessisty of investing in one would be removed. She answers all emails and phone calls promptly and has explained how her business is expanding and her rationale behind new appointments. I have recommended her services to friends who have found her advice very apposite and appropriate.

What could they have done better?

She has begun sending out newsletters advising of nay changes to investment compaines, reorganisatons of sid companies and budget changes. I receive an annual review and she is quite happy to give this review personally. MY financial requirements are simple and so the service she offers me is exactly as I require it. I cannot make any constructive criticism as the level of advice and support she gives me is at the level I need. Those with larger investments and more complicated financial requirements are better placed than I to offer constructive criticism!

How has Caroline Anstee helped you?

I cannot believe how well off I am now I have retired and I am convinced it is all due to Caroline's advice and management. She simply takes care of everything for me while explaining in layman's terms (so i can understand) all the implications of any move. She manages my investments which bring an income, and looks after most of my AVC pensions (not the state pension or the final salary pension from my last employers). She advises me brilliantly and keeps me up to date with other issues e.g. the new pensioners' bonds. She visits at least once a year and does a full financial health check.

My advisor is very knowledgeable about all aspects in her field. She is an excellent communicator and will explain things whenever i don't undestand . Also, she seems to avoid using "financial speak" which is very good for me. She keeps in touch on a regular basis and is well aware off the market forecasts, again a useful quality for me.

What could they have done better?

I can't honestly think of anything my financial advisor should do better. I have had experience of other financial advisors and Caroline surpasses them all. She tries to be available if I have any worries about my financial situation and her advice is always measured and appropriate.

We always get a full annual review of our financial health and straight advice with the opportunity to understand the implications of the decisions that we take. Caroline comes to our house and personally goes through the review with us. She is also very responsive to emails throughout the year as we send he scanned updates from our financial services organisations and other documents. If we spot a change in the market Caroline responds and advises us via email.

What could they have done better?

It sometimes seems as if I need to chase when situations change and I had hoped that I would be contacted if, between reviews, there were material changes that I should be aware of. This is over and above a "newsletter" more a demonstration that my situation is actively and regularly reviewed between annual meetings.

Not sure they can do much about this but all the paperwork was a little over whelming.... I'm sure some of it (most of it) is statutory... But there is loads, anything to review how this is presented may be helpful.
