How has Michael Captieux helped you since your last review?

Michael has shown me the best way to use my savings and personal pensions. He has also reassured me that I have enough resources to enjoy a reasonable standard of living. He always explains very clearly and helps me to understand how things like ISA's and pensions work, and what's the best thing to do. He doesn't dictate, I am always free to make different choices. I have every confidence in Michael's ability to look after my funds.

Michael has shown me that I can afford to retire when I'm ready to. He listens to my concerns, and always does the best for me. I feel confident that I can now retire with confidence that I have sufficient funds to provide a reasonable standard of living. I feel much more secure about the future. Thank you Michael. we discussed how Michael could help by narrowing down the issues i need to address. this is helpful as neither of us want to waste time. we have agreed that it will be better to speak again after the March budget. My concern would be in pension contribution and retirement, and the budget may change the current rules.

Michael was our IFA when employed by HSBC, and we continued the relationship when he left & joined Vision. He has always provided us with excellent advice and support as we planned for our retirement. We feel that we can rely on his independence advice in managing our investment portfolio and safeguarding our finances. We also enjoy the relationship with him.

Yes, partcularly in managing our invesmtnet portfolio over the long term.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was concerned about the management and performance of my pension and ISA. I'm getting closer to retirement and want to make the best of the financial resources I have.

How has Michael Captieux helped you?

He listened carefully to what worried me, and what I wanted to achieve. He assessed my situation and carefully explained both the pros and cons of different solutions. He explained in terms that made sense to me. He made sure that any decision was mine, and gave me impartial advice.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I'm extremely happy with the outcome. The recommendations Michael made were really suited to my specific needs. I now feel much more secure about my future once I retire. I know I have someone I can trust, and who is working in my best interests. A weight has been lifted! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Michael.

Bad experience with previous advisers led my wife and I to look for someone in whom we had complete faith.

Having been badly let down by a previous firm of advisers, to our great good fortune we discovered Vision and Mr Captieux who was able to swiftly and efficiently sort out our previously neglected portfolios and remove our life’s savings to a place of safety by organising and reinvesting them, in the most financially beneficial way.

We had savings and investments in a number of different accounts and found it impossible to monitor and keep up with their performances.

Mike went through various investment options to suit our needs and with his vast knowledge and experience he introduced us to a first class investment management company with whom we have been extremely pleased.

Most definitely - our funds have been well managed and are performing very well. We now have investments that are more than adequate for our immediate and future requirements. We continue to make additional contributions when we can.

How has Michael Captieux helped you?

Michael always offers a quality service, if I need advise i always walk away from our meetings happy that I understand what he has offered with regards to pensions, or any investments. The reason I haven't marked Excellent for Value for Money is because I haven't felt the need to research the market for competitive pricing as the service I am receiving I am happy with and don't feel the need to go else where.

What could they have done better?

Nothing that springs to mind, Michael shows patience and understand my attitude to risk when making investments. So to me if my adviser understands and knows what i am happy with when it comes to risk then I am happy! I couldn't ask for more.
