What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was considering early retirement an needed advice to find out if I could actually afford to do that and if it was worth while transferring my pension.

How has Paul Chada helped you?

He questioned my I wanted to retire how much I needed to live on he explained in terms that I understood the plus an minus to transferring. He had to be confident that my pension would last me. Paul did all the paper work the transfers an my monthly allowance.

Yes. So far so good. Its early days as the circumstances we are in at the moment are unusual.

What could they have done better?

Difficult to say as I lost some of my investment in the beginning of covet 19 but no one expected it. It has picked up since so hopefully it will continue to do so.

I was alerted by my Pension Provider that I should seek advice relating to the recent circumstances of my work-place pension.

How has Paul Chada helped you?

Paul Chada, with permission, made contact with my Pension provider to confirm that there was a tax liability, and between them made amendments to the scheme which allowed the tax to be paid from the Pension Pot. This in turn served to mitigate future tax liability.

The Pension/Tax liability issue was resolved with HMRC quite painlessly. To follow on from the pension situation, Paul has advised on various other aspects. Helped with private health insurance, saving and investment and retirement planning.

What could they have done better?

Pensions and investments are subjects which I am not comfortable with. Paul is very good at explaining everything, but sometimes there could be a little "finance industry jargon" which might need to be simplified.

I was hoping to raise funds through a remortgage on my property to pay for a renovation project. I didn't know where to start given the vast array of options and deals available. I didn't understand the various mortgage plans and what would be best for circumstance, hence I saught Paul's help.

What could they have done better?

I like to see plain an simple comparisons so that I can cut to the chase straight away. It would be good if proposals could be ready sooner though I guess it takes time to come up with a specialist strategy for growth.

I decided to use this service because I had become increasingly concerned about my my financial situation post retirement next year. It was great to be able to speak to a financial adviser.
