How has Stuart Sutton helped you?

My wife and I first sought advice from SG Wealth Management in 2003. It was then a two partner firm. As it grew additional advisers were recruited and our affairs became the responsibility of Stuart in 2011. He has continued the firm's tradition of providing full financial services concerning management of our comparatively small investment portfolio in accordance with annual reviews of our attitude to risk as well as offering advice regarding our cash investments if requested. He provides the service that we require now as we approach our eighties virtually taking over portfolio management on our behalf. Just what we want

I have no doubt that Stuart would have fulfilled my requirements for an IFA admirably. He was able to offer a service level and options suitable for my needs but my final selection was influenced by factors outside Stuart's control.

Contact is regular and friendly. Conversations are conducted in language I understand rather than financial jargon. If I don't understand something this is explained willingly and clearly. Reviews of the investments are regular.

What could they have done better?

Rather a lot olf questionnaires which irritate a little but which are presumably necessary to identify and continually monitor my investment rationale.

Stuart is a professional in his job and he is able to clearly explaining the pro and cons of the different investing solutions for you to fully understand how your money could be invested and making an informed decision. Stuart has been very good about listening to my financial requirements and/or re-addressing them in the correct financial way. Stuart is slowly becoming more like a "family" member than an independent financial advisor.

What could they have done better?

I have been investing my founds for a while now and, even though I haven't been experiencing almost any "volatility" so far I have not yet been able to fully achieve the set financial goals. Trust Stuart will make it happens.

Stuart Sutton carefully assesses the risk profile, need for income and capital growth. The investments reflect my needs, but he is prepared to discuss safer or riskier investments which might improve the rewards. He explains the financial terms of banking and investment so I better understand the markets to be able to be more confident with the overall package of investing my money. The directors of SG Wealth Management down to the admin staff provide aback up service which is excellent. I have confidence in the detailed research that Stuart provides to offer a wide variety of financial products. My principle advisor, and will remain so.

Stuart Sutton is an excellent communicator and is efficient and organised. I have trust in him.

What could they have done better?

Once or twice we have chatted about the general financial news and situation/climate to the detriment on specifics relating to me as we then ran out of time. Relative financial performance is almost impossible for me to gauge.

Stuart is professionally very informed. He has understood my circumstances and my attitude to risk very well, I’ve always found his advice to be well tailored to my needs. Portfolio details are always available online and he provides regular summaries and commentary. Stuart is responsive to calls and emails – if he’s not available immediately then he usually replies on the same day. He is very approachable and doesn’t talk in jargon.

What could they have done better?

IÂ’ve raked around for something to criticise but IÂ’m a reasonably demanding person and Stuart delivers what I need.

Stuart is available to chat at any time and to answer questions. We have an In depth one to one session from time to times when our whole portfolio and approach is discussed and any changes made. This is very helpful. Looking at the section later on Stuart's best quality I could tick all of them.

What could they have done better?

I feel that Stuart's company and Stuart himself is always seeking to improve. The latest yearly report format is an improvement of the previous one although that as not at all bad.

We find that apart from the 'day to day' running of our investments, our long term requirements are high on the agenda. Any queries or needs outside our portfolio are also dealt with. We also find it easy to question Stuart as 'laymen' I have no time for people who can not discuss items in simple terms.
