Joy made very clear from the outset about the fees. She asked us to complete a risk questionnaire so she could tailor her advice to best suit us. She informed us of different options we have regarding my pension. When we ultimately decided not to proceed Joy was very understanding and did not pressure us in anyway. We were able to base our decision on clear and independent advice given by Joy and were very happy with the service she provided.

Joy is easy to talk to and explains everything very clearly in lay mans terms that we can understand. Joy is extremely patient and did an incredible amount of research on our behalf to make sure we were getting the best deal for our annuity. She has an amazing amount of knowledge and was spot on with our attitude to risk. Joy understood what our goals were and did her best to achieve them for us even though we had limited means. We are very grateful for everything she did for us and wouldn't hesitate to contact her again for further advice in the future.

Following the death of my father, Joy Roskilly visited my invalid mother at home to help administer his estate which had been established as a trust. She then liased with my father's bank and relevent authorities to invest the cash element of the estate to provide my mother with additional income. The value of the investment has none-the-less increased. Sadly my mother has subsequently died and Joy has been fully involved in the subsequent probate process, liasing with solicitors, re-organising investments and providing advice. She is always contactable and happy to meet in person at short notice.

I have 2 properties and a small pension pot. What Joy does for me is to listen, first and foremost, to the ideas I have for my future. I am single and totally risk averse. She has understood this from the beginning and any advise she gives me is on that basis. I have concerns on CGT and she has advised me in that direction. She gives me the confidence to carry out my ideas if they are sound, and has made me realise that at any stage I can get in touch with her about any changes in my life that need her financial direction.

Joy is very knowledgable and is able to put across the relevant information/options in an easy to understand format after researching suitable options for me. She also made me feel comfortable and at ease within a short time and was prepared to visit me at my home if it was convenient. I would definitely recommend her services.

What could they have done better?

In my case I can't think if anything other than work for no fee at all which is obviously not am option. We did discuss the fee at the first session which I appreciated.
