How has Norman Stevenson helped you?

Norman has built a clear picture of my financial circumstances and goals. He has then carefully aligned his advice and efforts to help me meet those goals.

What could they have done better?

In my particular case Norman could go a little more 'light-touch' when it comes to the detail of his advice. However, I know there are regulations to be observed, and some other clients may require more detail. It is just, on occasion, we could streamline the conversation to some extent.

How has Norman Stevenson helped you?

My advisor keeps tabs on the performance of my investments and adjusts them accordingly. He makes sure that funds get transferred into ISA's each year to take advantage of tax free opportunities. On his advice, some of my funds have been organised by a micro management firm, currently called Sanlan, and consistently my overall returns have been very satisfactory. In between annual review meetings, Norman Stevenson has always been ready to answer any queries over the phone.

What could they have done better?

See above, I am very satisfied and would not presume to make any suggestions.

How has Norman Stevenson helped you?

I first met Norman at a Retirement Seminar in The London Borough of Harrow. He ran a 2 day course which I found very informative. As I was approaching retirement it was extremely useful. I only wish I had attended earlier to put more long term planning into place. I would recommend such a course to any one retiring in the next few years. Since then Norman has become the Financial Adviser to all members of our family. He has helped us to plan for the future and has given advice to all our children, including mortgages, A Family Trust and Life Insurance. He explains our position very clearly when we meet and then follows up with a written summary of our conversation. He understands my views on Financial Planning and finds the best choices for me.

What could they have done better?

It would be helpful to me if Norman called me regularly, maybe once a year, to check if I needed to discuss any areas of Financial Planning. It would remind me to look at my portfolio and review my finances.
