Please provide a brief comment about your experience with Eden

I made enquires about drawing money out of a pension.Eden gave me some advice and said that I didn't need a financial advisor but if i needed help he would be happy to help me. How refreshing is that in this day and age? I would not hesitate in going to Eden for anything of a financial matter

I was sent an e-mail with information I had found on the internet after a little research. I was under the impression I would get at least half an hour to an hour free. Also the info I received as far as I am aware it was not from Eden. Although I appreciate the info sent it was info I already knew. Regards Joanne

Contact was fast and detailed - however we decided to use another advisor who provided the same standard of advice also in the local area at a guarenteed cheaper rate (i.e. not dependant on how much the lender pays out etc).

How has Eden Whittaker helped you?

Communication was absolutely perfect, the advice given was accurate and informative. The whole process of getting a mortgage was made so much easier by the mortgage advisor who was there every step of the way to explain everything. Home visits are also available which is very helpful.

How has Eden Whittaker helped you?

I have known Eden Whittaker for approximately 25 years and he has provided me with the best financial advice possible. Eden takes time to explain the complicated pro's and con's of pensions and mortgages etc and can be trusted to give the best guidance in laymans terms. He is extremely patient in trying to explain the benefits and downfalls of pensions and mortgages. I trust Eden completely in looking after my finances.

Eden Whittaker is knowledgeable, attentive, engaging, open, honest, and transparent. Attention to detail is a strong point with his firm and the back-up office administration is excellent. Whittaker Financial Solutions is based on sound ethical principles and in these days of ever increasing financial mismanagement by the banks and other major financial institutions that’s a real blessing. It comes of something of a relief to be dealing with a firm that treats you with respect, is not patronising and wants to fully engage with you rather than come out with ‘patsy’ advice. Does that sound too good to be true, maybe. But trust me Whittaker Financial Solutions is good, very good.

What could they have done better?

Difficult to fault.

I DID respond to the email address given within 48 hours (proof available) - I explained in that email that I had been busy and travelling. I did not get a reply to that email but, given his posting, maybe I got junked or blocked. I have recontacted him having recognised the adverse posting, so we'll see.

How has Eden Whittaker helped you?

Eden is an extremely good listener. I am not at all financially savvy but he will try and explain things to me in a way I can understand. I never feel that I am on the clock when I am with him, despite having huge demands on his own time he gives me all the time I need.

What could they have done better?

I know Eden is always at the end of a telephone if I need him, but sometimes out of the blue contact is good for the client. Just helps to keep the advisor client relationship and is reassuring that we aren't forgotten.

Everything, the word that comes to mind is 'ethical' he has looked after both my husband and myself, he has advised and helped my children with mortgages etc. He or a member of his staff is always available, and we always understand what he tells us. He lets us make the decisions but knows us well enough to know what we need and what would be the best for us.
