Modest inherited monies to invest for the best returns plus a small private pension.

Time consuming and difficult trying to keep my money where it produced the best returns. A financial advisor also gives a continuous and concise access to my investments.

He set up a basis for control of my investments and other advice when I have requested it.

I had many different investments and he has rationalised them, bearing in my level of risks required. It is a bit of a choppy financial situation at the moment but I do feel re-assured that I can leave it to Jim: it's been a steady upwards trend so far.

I think I should have engaged earlier In life with a financial advisor. I would the have received early advice on both pensions and inheritance tax.

Having retired and with a pension pot to invest, needing a Financial Expert in whom you trust and can rely on for sound advice, I turned to Jim Aitkenhead and his team, confident that they would 'keep me safe' and guide me in maximising the returns from my investments without putting me at undue risk. Hunter Aitkenhead have continued to guide my savings and investments and I continue to have faith in their sensible and helpful advice which is always fully explained. The most significant and essential requirement for a Financial Advisor's clients is good communication on a regular basis. And with Hunter Aitkenhead this what I receive: receive regular reports on how the world of finance is going and how it relates to my situation.

How has Jim Aitkenhead helped you?

Jim has looked after me for some time now and has given sound advice both leading up to and during the early years of my retirement. I will now be looking at inheritance planning and expect to receive the same good advice. His monthly financial report is also helpful.

What could they have done better?

Whilst we have an annual person to person review and a monthly general report, it would be interesting to hear of other opportunities during the year as I have other funds that could be invested were opportunities forthcoming.
