Sometimes there is a little difficulty in understanding what Paul is communicating to me, therefore I have to ask him to slow down to clarify, so that I fully understand. This is just as I find anything new difficult to understand first hand.

Paul offers a personalised service based on my needs and my attitude to risk, without any pressure, but with knowledge and competence which is obviously reassuring as a newcomer to investing.

From the first time I met Paul I was delighted that my friend had recommended him. Although I live a fair distance away from where Paul is based, all meetings were held at my convenience, and Paul did all the travelling, which was most appreciated. His financial knowledge and expertise was totally reassuring, and I felt everything he advised was for my own benefit/affordability, and never in his own interests. Communications are always swift, frequent, and this is done until plans/finances are sorted all the way through. AND, he's a nice guy to boot!

Paul is a very professional dedicated advisor who seems to know the market extremely well. He has a broad knowledge and is able to link together different aspects of financial planning which other advisors may not. He seems to have endless enthusiasm for the subject which is helpful as he keeps an close eye on trends and market conditions.

He can be almost too enthusiastic at times.

I have always felt condfident in Paul identifying the best product for my needs. He takes into consideration all factors and talks in clear language as to what options are available so that I can make an informed decision and feel that it is the right decision for me. I have also received comments from my bank trying to sell me life assurance etc that the protection I have, which includes critical illness, is actually the best on the market and they cannot compete with that. Something which goes a long way in what can be a very confusing choice to make.

Nothing I can think of. He will make himself available to meet your needs and take the time to explain every detail.

Paul regularly updated us with what was happening with the mortgage. He was always happy to help and answered any questions we had quickly and effeciently.

Professional and thorough.

The first thing i noticed was his local knowledge and experience within the finance industry. He seemed to be able to advise and direct us towards financial institutes such as banks/building/societies,Plus solicitors. His knowledge also stretched further afield to the city.
Another aspect of the service i received was constant updates from either himself or his colleague who was also super efficient, there is nothing worse than being left waiting for answers and feedback when your life savings and everything you have worked for is at stake. The situation my wife and i was in was complex financially and otherwise, Mr Clifford wasn't phased at any point and endeavoured to pull out all stops to complete his task of financing and saving the situation that could have had a very different outcome. I cannot praise his skills enough.

Paul set up our mortgage offer and all was ready to go with the chosen lender. He arrived on time, as arranged and announced that he had found a more appropriate lender with a better rate, had already switched the application and got it approved. This saved us an enormous amount of money and meant we didn't need to continually switch lender every few years saving our time and removing application fees.

All of that was over and above our expectations and whats more he did it to make sure we got the best possible advice and deal available.
