What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I decided to retire.. but i had 5 seperate pensions, and had no idea how best to go about getting all my money together, and i did not know or understand any of the written information on my pension statements.

How has Kevin Worrall helped you?

Kevin explained very easily and simply my options.. although very professional he was friendly and answered all of my questions. He gave me several options and advised me on the best investments. This was followed up at all times via either letter and or text. He kept me informed every step of the way, making the process easy for me to understand.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes 100%. I even had a very old pension which i didn't think i was entitled to but Kevin sorted it out for me. This was something i could not have done myself.

What could they have done better?

No. He did everything i asked for. I would not hesitate to reccomend him to others.

Our previous financial advisor no longer dealt with savings and investments and suggested Kevin take over our portfolio.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I needed to take early retirement due to health and was concerned my modest private pension would soon be exhausted. After advice from Kevin, I was able to stretch my pension to maximum effect and by moving around my savings, which were earning me zero, I able to take out an investment plan which boosted my income considerably. What I really liked about Kevin, was his ability to bring the financial discussion down to my level. I admit to being somewhat of a financial 'dunce' and was feeling extremely intimidated by the financial maze but due to Kevin's skills and endless patience, I was soon put at ease. I have nothing but praise for Kevin and would recommend him and his company 100%

He struck me as someone with integrity: his information was clear and he seemed to understand what I was looking for. He was friendly but professional. Down to earth. I felt I could trust him. He was able to explain things to me that I find difficult to understand. He was clearly knowledgeable and has a good CV.

I met Kevin today to help me review my financial circumstances - I found Kevin to be polite, professional and very knowledgeable on a variety of products and the best way forward in my own personal circumstances. He was clear and concise in what he could do for me and in explaining the costs I would incur for the advice and services he would be able to provide me with. I am now awaiting a written report on his recommendations which will enable me to decide if I do wish to proceed - highly satisfied.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Changes in the pension options which meant we needed advice on what to do with the various pots and the way forward, and to get a bit of cash out now.

How has Kevin Worrall helped you?

He was very comprehensive with his initial questioning to understand what we wanted. He was also very good at explaining the different options and doing that in 'english' when we didn't quite grasp some of the financial terms. And importantly never ever pressured us into any action. We had plenty of time to read his suggestions, ask him any questions, then a revisit to ensure we were happy. Then email updates as to each stage that had been done.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Probably more so as he was so patient at ensuring we understood the process to get to our desired outcome. Plus he came to us which makes it more relaxed to do this in your own home than a sterile office.

What could they have done better?

Personally and professionally he was ace. The only thing I can say is don't keep wearing a dark suit when you know we have three cats!

Occupational pension transfer to the private pension.

I approached Kevin as I needed help and advice regarding transfer of my occupational pension. Kevin very thoroughly analysed my situation and preferences, researched and presented all available options. He was ready to provide further advice any time I needed it, he was always very easily reached. There was a very short deadline to complete the transfer and Kevin was managing the whole process extremely well, ensuring that the deadline could be met. What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I wanted to have greater flexibility with two of my pensions, so they would work in a way that better suited my future plans. I also wanted to provide some level of security for my ex-wife.

How has Kevin Worrall helped you?

Kevin took the time to thoroughly review my current pension situation and compare it to what I was looking for in the future. At our first meeting, he took time to ask detailed questions about what I was really looking for. This gave him a very good understanding of my current situation and my future plans. He suggested a plan that was different to but far better than what I had initially stated. He gathered the latest figures from my then, current pension providers. He assessed at length the level of my risk appetite and on choosing my new pension funds, he explained his recommendations fully. Kevin made me fully aware of the benefits I was giving up by making these changes to my pensions, and made sure he was happy that I understood this well.

My current situation is that my new pension plan is being put in to place now. The new plan provides for me in a much better way that I had initially expected and asked for and for this I am very grateful.

What could they have done better?

In my opinion, I am not sure Kevin could have done anything better. I am extremely happy with the service that Kevin provided. I learnt a lot about pensions during our meetings and he always spoke in terms I could understand. Kevin always took the time to ensure I understood what was happening at every stage. He is very friendly, pleasant and easy to talk to, which means it helped me open up to him and tell him everything he needed to know in detail to understand my requirements and then recommend the best plan for me. Kevin gave me confidence that my money was in safe, trustworthy hands. He comes across as an expert in his field, which gave me even more confidence in dealing with him. I have already highly recommended Kevin and his services to my family and some friends.
