What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We had come to end of our current fixed rate mortgage and wanted to release some capital for home improvements and fix our rate for the medium term.

Talk us through various options including ideas we hadn't considered and helped us find the best mortgage on the market for our needs.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, re-mortgage was completed in no time and with next to no effort by us.

Steve is exceedingly approachable and fully appreciated our needs when it came to both mortgaging, and re-mortgaging, along with income protection. He clearly discusses the options with you in plain language, and clearly understood the issues relating to us being NHS workers in relation to income protection, and helped provide the pertinent information in relation to this.

This is a difficult one because every question or issues that appeared was dealt with even though these were issues with the mortgage lender and not with Steve.

Found an appropriate mortgage as per my request and dealt with the application swiftly. I appreciate being able to communicate by phone, email and text message. I always received a response to my questions promptly. Office easy to find and free parking nearby All face to face meetings at times convenient to myself. Helped with introduction to another service which I required.

What could they have done better?

At initial meeting there was another person present in the small office, although I know they would respect confidentiality, I would have preferred the meeting not to have been conducted in this way.
