Lindsay was very good at describing the options available to me and my wife which was exactly what I needed. I had already done some pensions planning of my own but I needed a professional sense-check of my thinking and to make sure I was considering all the relevant issues in terms of retirement data and future pension contributions. Lindsay did more than this and was able to describe other options we had not considered. Now we feel confident that we know what our next steps are as I approach retirement.

How has Lindsay Lockett helped you?

Lindsay helped my wife and I review and refocus our ISA and pension funds portfolio, which had been built up over a number of years, to better reflect our current financial requirements. His approach has been practical and honest and has been a refreshing change from our mixed experiences with some 'national' financial institutions. He understood our goals and was very clear with regards to cost and his charges and certainly offers excellent value for money from our perspective.

Lindsay has provided me with advice and guidance for a number of years and has been especially helpful in the financial planning and implementation of my recent retirement which is now all in place, I would strongly recommend the value of his services which have always been totally transparent and very good value. My own view is that competent financial advice is essential prior to and approaching retirement particularly in respect of the Chancellors increasing tax demands upon the pensionable community over the next few years.

How has Lindsay Lockett helped you?

First he listens to what I want from investments, pension etc. He uses spread sheets and projections with my information in them to clearly explain and demonstrate my options and their pros and cons. I have always found him to be honest about the variability of markets and risk/benefit assessments of any investments we discuss. I have always clearly understood how his payment and commission works and been clear about what and how he is paid as a result of managing my portfolio. I find him to be very knowledgeable about financial services so able to tailor the management of my money to suit me. He has been particularly helpful with my retirement planning so I was able to retire last year. Put simply, I feel he is 'on my side' when reviewing my investments and is keen to find the best investments for me which get me the best returns but don't exceed my approach to risk. We review my investments at least annually but normally twice a year depending on how much change is going on for me. It can be more frequent at times when my circumstances are changing e.g. house sale, retirement etc.

Difficult to say - I am generally happy with his approach to my investments
