It was a long time ago because we have dealt with Ashley specifically on all issues. Originally it was all pension related advice by transferring in to a better pension scheme to improve circumstances. It then went on a mortgage and Ashley's investigations and final application saved my household approx. £250 per month in payment, based on a better rate and mortgage company etc.

Ashley arranges to pay a visit once every twelve months and explains the current status of pensions etc. Sometimes, there are no improved changes suggested and other times there are. Overall, Ashley's advice is available if improvements are possible. Also, he is there to consider any other topics that we wish. Hence, one year ago we changed mortgage company via Ashley.

Pensions increase at the expected rate or Ashley will suggest that the funds are moved if improvements are seen with another company. Ashley is reviewing the performance of each company against his expectations annually.

The only contact I had with Ashley was via text message. I had picked 3 advisors as Martin Lewis suggests on his website. Ashley was the last one to respond. After I had decided to appoint a different advisor I let Ashley know via text and to thank him for his time. It was disappointing that Ashley did not respond to this text acknowledging that he had received it. I can only hope that if I had decided to appoint him he would have been responsive and courteous. I am scoring 3 because I would like to give Ashley the benefit of doubt as already commented

We were involved in a scam with our previous IFA - although we did retrieve the initial investment in an overseas property scam back, it took more than 4 years and lost money in doing so!.

Ashley couldn't have been more helpful when helping me to choose the right mortgage that suited my needs. Ashley used 'straight talking' language that I understood and was transparent about my options. Ashley is also approachable and friendly; which is sometimes half the battle. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he was always at the end of the phone to answer any questions about things I didn't understand.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Absolutely. Before Ashleys intervention I had tried to apply for a mortgage / insurance policies alone. Ashley looked at my options in detail to come up with the best plan tailored specifically for me. It saved me an awful lot of money in the long run resulting in lower mortgage payments, cheaper insurance policies and better cover.
What could they have done better?
Nothing. I cant praise Ashley enough. He is brilliant at what he does and I cant recommend him enough; I wouldn't go anywhere else.

This was an extremely stressful time for us but Ashley was with us every step and went above and beyond to secure our home for us. He really was our rock and we cannot thank him enough.

Being messed around by countless sellers and estate agents it was hard to see a light at the end of the tunnel but Ashley persavered and we now have our wonderful home.

Ashley went above and beyond to help us secure our home and as first time buyers we didn't have much of a clue on anything mortgage related. He made us feel looked after and went the extra mile to support us in such a stressful and vulnerable time. I'm struggling to think of anything to put here. We have used Ashley for a number of products from mortgages to insurance and always had a grade A service. I guess he could clone himself as we've occasionally found him slightly hard to get hold off but never when it mattered.
