Peter has given me the help & guidance to organise my finances, I had let things slip to say the least . Not only did he explained things thoroughly so i understood step by step changes he put me back on track for the future, he has also saved me money on my monthly outgoings, At the same time not compromising the level of cover I had on existing polices, in fact I have better cover & through guidance / investing I am in a much stronger position looking forwards & planning for the future ,i only wish I had been introduced to Peter earlier in life . In summary : Very professional Well presented Punctual ( flexible on times , ie day time or evenings ) Explains everything that's clearl & easily understood Excellent advice

Like many people I was worried about finding financial advisor who would provide good advice based on my requirements, having found Peter's company through an internet search engine, I was reassured in our early meetings that he was providing good advice taking into account my own cautious nature to risk. He listened to my concerns and revised initial recommendations to take account of my concerns. He clearly explained the various areas of investment and how these fitted with risk and potential reward. As time has passed we have increased the scope of work from the initial investments to review and some amendment of pension provisions, with clear examples to provide guidance on the question of taking a 25% lump sum and reduced pension against the full pension. My experience has been posative with initial scopes of investment being increased as confidence increased with the evidence of sound investments giving the confidence to make new and revised investments based on the advice received.

What could they have done better?

There is little that I believe needs to change for myself, Peter contacts me to have a review meeting on a timescale which currently suits my requirements and I have always been able to contact him if I found it neccessary.

I have been a client of Peter for about 7 years now and during this time transitioned from work to retirement. Peter has always given whatever time is needed to ensure i understand the products on offer and the risks and benefits of each option. He is patient and careful in his explanations and never pushes me into a decision leaving me with whatever time i need to think over and come back with questions.

What could they have done better?

Better clarity of the actual annual costs of start up and ongoing costs would be appreciated. Using any IFA is not a cheap option but the advice received over time has so far proven to be good value.

Following a bad experience with a previous company, I decided to" go local" and selected Gemini without any recommendation from anyone. Before handing over investments /pensions we attended meetings that were held at their excellent premises in Sutton Coldfield, the meetings were conducted with Peter Berwick who listened carefully to our concerns/ambitions etc , and never attempted to force the pace in any particular direction until we were all in complete agreement over our objectives. His recommendations were then presented ,discussed at length , slightly revised and then agreed . Our risk attitude was analysed completely to our satisfaction. We were never pressured, patronised, or bombarded with jargon, our input was always considered. The service that Gemini/Peter offer is a vast improvement over what our previous "big time "London advisors offered. The quarterly reviews are excellent and the portfolio changes are always explained. The web site is fully comprehensive and easy to use. We are very pleased that we made the change !

What could they have done better?

Sometimes communications are a little slow Possibly due to pressure of work follow up requests can take a while. Like all advisors try to avoid , charges and the impact of charges over a period of time need to be reviewed. If an investment has a poor performance ,this should be taken into account to mitigate charges in the future.
