Dear Rakesh Im so sorry you feel this way. I think its only fair to tell my side of what happened. Firstly you did not want me to visit your home and asked if i would meet you in a coffee shop, i said this would not be practical and asked if meeting at my office would be ok. After days of chasing you for an answer you replied to me and said either the 7th of Feb or Sunday the 1st of feb. I replied saying that i would be happy to meet you on Sunday at 12 oclock I then did not hear from you to confirm this, i had called you many times to no avail. You then think that sending me an email on Sunday at 11.30 is adequate notice. I think you will find that most brokers will not work on Sundays and if they do then they would want a lot more than 30 minutes notice Kind regards Jon

John showed a real commitment in helping me find the right mortgage. He was very open and honest in his advise. He returned my phone calls in a timely manner to assist me accordingly. Furthermore, John showed a real commitment and competence in his role as a mortgage advisor and I would certainly recommend him to anyone requiring financial advice of any sort.

What could they have done better?

I initially thought that a face to face service would have been more appropriate, but the exchange of emails, phone calls, actually turned out to be more beneficial for my situation because it saved me a lot of time and petrol money.

Well, I will say Jon needs to keep up the good work he does and he will go a very long way to help people like myself who were turned down by the main stream banks. He has over the past couple of years also helped other members of my family.

How has Jonathan Murphy helped you?

I found him very professional and responsive. He went to great lengths to ensure I wasn't over borrowing! Ultimately I went with a mortgage offer that Jon arranged with my original lender because I agreed with his advice that it was the best fit for my circumstances. Finally - I'm sceptical regarding brokers trying to "up sell" (try to sell you other products such as life insurance etc). Jon did review my life insurance and pension situation, he agreed I had good cover and didn't try to push new products at me. No heavy sales technique. I would recommend Jon.
