Starting up as a freelancer after retirement from a career in full time employment was a challenging new experience and I needed guidance, I also needed advice following changes in my personal taxation situation at the point of retirement from full time employment.

The advice in both areas was clear and straightforward and delivered in terms I could easily understand, the execution of the work necessary to establish a company and to deliver a personal tax return was extremely efficient .

My only suggestion would be to assume an even greater level of ignorance on behalf of the client in terms of dealing with matters which are routine for a good and well established company like Andrew Davis but which appear complex and rather intimidating for the client.

The most important thing is he spent time making sure he understood the detail and background of both my personal and business affairs. After which he gave great advice, getting me to consider different ways to solve problems/tax matters. He continues to make the effort to understand the totality of my financial matters rather than simply being a completer of forms.

yes - the time I need to spend of my finances/tax matters greatly reduced with the knock-on reduction of year-end stress.
