Always had an accountant but decided a change was needed. Jane was recommended by a friend.

How has Jane Grant helped you?

All aspects or corporate and personal taxation. Also, when setting up another company, she was most helpful. In addition, Jane or one of her staff is always available and responds quickly to my enquiries.

I first approached Jane Grant at AMAS in 2014 when I was looking for an accountancy practice to assist in setting up my company and administering it’s accounts thereafter.

Jane accepted me as a client and took the time to examine the options available to me. I am now in my second year of trading and have found Jane to be both professional and very helpful in all our dealings to date.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an accountant?

When we set up our business a number of years ago we were looking for someone we could trust and would be involved in the journey in helping us grow our business.

How has Jane Grant helped you?

Back in the beginning we needed everything from setting the company up, to payroll and our year end accounts. Over time that moved to helping us become Vat registered and doing our returns. Now we get all of that plus tax advice and now Jane is helping us plan for expansion. We've gone from startup to now having 45 employees and if things go to plan we'll be 75 staff strong by the end of this year. The good thing for us is that Jane has a lot of experience in working with growing companies and has been able to provide us with whatever it is we need at the stage when we've needed it.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes. Jane and all the staff at AMAS are seen as an extension of our team and I know if I need any help or advice then they'll let me know the pros and cons and together they'll help me make the right decision.

What could they have done better?

If anything I maybe don't use them as much as I could. Perhaps that was because I didn't think we were a big enough company and that they'd charge for advice that at that point we couldn't afford. My thinking now has changed somewhat and in the future as our company grows more of my time will be spent working on growth strategies and for this their input will be key.

I was actually offering IT support to AMAS and realised I needed a good accountant.

How has Jane Grant helped you?

Jane helped me with certain aspects of the business not just in accounts but also ways to grow as a company as well as some really beneficial advice.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes and I look forward to out meeting regarding targets and forecasts.

What could they have done better?

To be honest I cant think of anything that would make the service run any better. As we supply and support the IT hardware, we can see Jane is always looking for ways to better her service. and stay ahead of the game. She has achieved this and more.

I was looking for an accountant who is completely honest and has bucket loads of integrity and I found that with Jane. We've now had 16 years of perfect business harmony and we've built up a fine relationship based on trust.

Jane has a great gift of understanding and that's what I needed in an accountant. She's always very available and has always offer advice tailored to my needs.

With Jane doing all the hard work (accounting), I can get on with running the business my way.

What could they have done better?

The only thing I could say about how she could improve her service would be, she could shout at me louder and assert her authority and make me hand all the paperwork to her earlier. Not to help me, to take the pressure off herself. She's too nice.
