What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an accountant?

Owner managed business for a number of years and we decided it was time for a change, having known Alan Woods for a number of years we decided to move our business to him.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an accountant?

As a fairly youngish and rapidly expanding business, we were ready to trade as a limited company and we believed we had reached the stage where we needed the knowledge and expertise of an accountant for advice and to remain compliant.

How has Alan Woods helped you?

Alan, and the Practice Manager Tracy, absolutely understood our requirements. Everything is always explained with great detail and patience.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

All procedures have been fully explained so that we have a full understanding of how we are to run the accounts side of the company.

What could they have done better?

There are no criticisms to date. All emails and phone calls are responded to quickly.

Alan has been our Accountant since we took our businesses limited. Alan and his team look after our accounts, VAT returns and payroll. He has provided more advice and guidance than I have ever received from our previous accountants, helping with planning the growth of our business and being there to help us move forward. We moved on to annual VAT returns after discussing it with Alan which was something I didn't even know about. This has allowed us to budget throughout the year as well as only have to complete (and pay for) one VAT return each year. The biggest reason to write this review is the management systems Alan put into my business to take control of invoicing, supplier payments etc. Everything is now in one place but it has saved us 3 hours a day because everything is more efficient.

What could they have done better?

I can't honestly think of anything, everything I have asked has been answered and Woods2 have delivered on everything I have needed.
