Having had poor service from an accountancy firm in the past, Dave at Sloane walker was recommended by a colleague.

Dave is a consummate professional, and above all friendly and approachable. I always feel I am dealing with someone entirely at my own level and Dave always takes the time to explain clearly the details of the service he os offering. He is extremely responsive and his advice has always been sound. I would not hesitate to recommend Dave and his team to anyone looking any type of accountancy services.

Dave's service is always improving, he now provides checklists for returns etc., which make my life much easier.

How has Dave Walker helped you?

Dave has provided me with advice and an accounting service for the past four years . At all times I have found his professional service to be of great value particularly when I made the transition from being a sole trader to establishing a limited company under his guidance. He has the capacity to explain complex proceedures simply and as a consequence I am always very clear about what actions to take. Communication with Dave via email and telephone is easy and no question or request for clarification (somethimes of things he has explained already!) is too much trouble. He regularly send reminders of deadlines which is really useful and schedules meetings to suit mutually busy schedules. His office team is friendly and accommodating and there is always a high quality range of biscuits available.

I approached Dave at Sloane Walker Ltd following a recommendation from a close friend. I wanted a professional firm alongside me to ensure my accounts and tax affairs were in order from the beginning as I formed a Business Start-Up. Our initial meeting was captivating as Dave is extremely welcoming, easy to talk to and most importantly, easy to comprehend! Dave's knowledge and enthusiasm toward new business is both inspirational and reassuring. I certainly made the right choice.

What could they have done better?

I honestly believe there is nothing Sloane Walker Ltd could do better. I enjoy excellent service, prompt responses and distance is not an issue. Email exchanges are the best form of communication for myself but in the past the telephone conference has worked, plus there is always the offer of Skpe meetings.

The world of accounting, tax returns, and VAT can be a daunting place for a small creative company such as ours, but Dave Walker has walked us through every stage and offered unstinting support, advice and service. He has gone above and beyond in his support and has offered a great deal of his time to help us learn processes and systems that will save us time and money in the long-term - which in turn has helped us gain a far better insight into the financial workings of our business to help us with our future financial planning. How has Dave Walker helped you?

Dave and his team are excellent. They always respond to my questions quickly, give great advice and in layman's terms. Before I moved our accounts over to Dave we used a very large 'award winning' group of accountants that promised you the earth and never delivered. Dave and his team put them to shame. If you want an accountant who answers your questions and knows his stuff then in my humble opinion Dave Walker is your guy.

I have always been very impressed with the standard of communication from Dave. If I email him a query he responds immediately.
