What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an accountant?

We required an accountant to assist in the financial administration of the business and provide statutory accounts for submission to HMRC and Companies House.

How has Anne Hawkins helped you?

She fulfilled the role we required of her in excellently, in many ways epitomising a consummate professional, with a very friendly and approachable manner.

What could they have done better?

Having had no previous experience with other accountants, I have no particular reference to measure her performance against. I am certain, however, that the service and advice she has provided was exactly what we required, pushing us where we needed it and always being response and helpful.

We are a small company and we never had experience with accounting and bookkeeping We needed a expert advice and help, how and what is the best way to keep òur finance and books on track.

The only reason we're not going with Anne is that our office is more than 20 miles away from where she is based and we got an identical quotation from someone just a couple of miles away so it seemed sensible to take it.

Preparurned self assessment tax return for my wife and I. Full information based on passed experience was presented to her and within days draft forms were sent to us for our approval. Presentation was very professional and clear and full information of services etc were provided. Awaiting confirmation that returns have been presented to HMRC and information regarding going forward.

Ann was one of two Accountants names provided by vouched for; however, I had already engaged with the other before Anne contacted me. Ann sent a mail and left a voice-mail. both were clear and concise; however, that is the extent of my experience.

Didn't have a clue how to approach it. Anne made it as simple as possible, explained everything step by step and made the entire process very manageable. Very quick with feedback. Very professional.

I had been with my previous accountant for a number of years and I felt I was not getting value for money, also there were a number of staff changes within the firm.

My Company was becoming a growing concern, Hence I required professional assistance submitting all relative account information and payroll to HMRC.

Anne has been great, She replied promptly to our messages and out of 6 other firms we contacted actually got back in touch with us and kept her promises. Anne came out to us for a site visit and understood our needs, Sorted out the urgent returns we needed doing that month without delay providing us with constructive and practical advice going forward that was easy enough for the novice such as us to understand and implement. Thank Anne :-).

We are more than happy with Anne and exited to now actually concentrate on what we do best because we feel we have a new member of our team who is equipped and experienced enough to take care of the boring stuff (Yet Necessary for any successful business) , leaving us feeling we can finally concentrate on the business instead of the books.
