What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an accountant?

I needed my tax doing on a regular base as a sole practitioner; so did my wife need her personal tax assessed - so basic tax planning and application. I also use his services for my company.

Having left HM Forces my wife and I we opted to take-on a busy franchise delivering award-wining organic fruit and veg and needed advice, guidance and support in a host of areas. Wisdom was recommended to us.

He gave us sensible, impartial advice during our pre-purchase business research / planning and then steered us through the formation of our company. When we took over the business and commenced operations he provided an outstanding level of support; this has continued but changed subtly as time has progressed and our abilities grew.

Yes. His specialist assistance in early days allowed us to concentrate on the basics of our business and, as our own understanding grew he facilitated our taking-on more bookkeeping processes ourselves, without overloading us. Having Wisdom in the wings looking after our interests has been comforting.

Being self-employed.

He sat down with me and went through everything, gave me some useful information and some personal forms to keep my accounts up to date. He also chases me when I need to get things in order - and is very patient! I can be a little disorganized and last minute and he is very flexible and fits in with that. We also have a good relationship.

Yes. I always get my returns in on time and feel confident that everything is in order.
