What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Savings held in bank accounts paid very little interest and we wanted a much better return for our money.

How has Aled Wyn helped you?

From our initial meeting with him, he instilled confidence in us to invest wisely; he understood our long-term financial needs and, having been made fully aware of our attitude to risk, he set up a portfolio with which we were very happy.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Our investments have increased in value - 8-9% - and, therefore, we believe that we have benefited greatly from his expertise in the financial markets.

What could they have done better?

We have given this question much thought and we are unable to think of anything that Aled Wyn could have done any better. During reviews, he is most professional, approachable and friendly in his manner. We are kept fully informed with updates and he actions all requests promptly. We have no hesitation in recommending him to other prospective investors.

Helped me decide on routes to take. Very proactive and very happy to share personal option rather than just a standard line and leaving it up to me to decide.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes. I still have more to think about but that fits with a long term, trusted relationship.

What could they have done better?

Very difficult. I often struggles with some of the complex issues but these will always be complex and I can’t obviously think of ways that making the complex less so. Thus, I have no specific suggestions.

Generally yes. The current financial climate is challenging obviously as a result of Covid19, and this has led to a less than ideal situation but not of Aled Wyn's making of course !

Aled Wyn has consistently been helpful and constructive and I cannot think of anything that he could have done better.

My husband passed away and my financial understanding was noy good at that point as he had dealt with our finances.

Aled was marvellous as he was able to help me understand my financial position and help me to invest my money in order to maximise its potential and prepare for my retirement.

Aled always responded promptly to e mails and was prompt for our appointments. He explained information without making you feel that you should perhaps know some of what he was explaining. If you asked any questions and he wasn't certain then he would check and if necessary get back on that point. What I found helpful was reinforcing the discussions we had with some written information so I could read it in my own tiime and ask any further questions if I wished to. When I decided to invest I was comfortable that I had selected an excellent advisor who was working in my best interests, Clear information and having confidence in Aled' s ability to look after my investment was crucial when it came to me making the decision to invest.

Aled is very thorough, concise, consciencious and extremely reliable. He demonstarted real honesty and integrity and at all times during our discussions andf I genuinely felt that he was putting my needs first. As a practice I found iPlanning to be contemporary in the way they work yet without ever straying from the basic principles of wishing to clearly understand my personal needs and then matching an appropriate product oer service to help meet that need.
