I have over 25 years of experience within financial services, having started my career working for large insurance companies and pension/investment product providers. I have been an Independent Financial Adviser for 7 years, after 6 years working as a restricted adviser for the Openwork network. I am a Chartered Financial Planner, Fellow of the CII and hold the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, having studied units in taxation, trusts, business financial planning and pensions. I hold the Certificate in Equity Release and Long-Term Care Insurance and am a STEP Affiliate, having attained the STEP Certificate for Financial Services in Trusts and Estate Planning. I help my clients to achieve their long-term goals by putting a financial plan in place. I provide solutions for business owners, self-employed, families and retirees and help to simplify the complicated world of financial products. My approach to planning involves listening to your needs and objectives and presenting a financial plan which is regularly reviewed to take account of changing circumstances and ensure the recommended solution remains on track. I advise clients on a range of financial planning needs and products including pensions, investments, protection, cashflow planning, lifetime gifting strategies, inheritance tax and long-term care planning. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and friends, keeping fit, music, theatre and film, and travelling to new places for holidays.
