What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
I initially looked for an advisor almost 50 years ago, once I started earning. Charlie took over from my original advisor.
How has Charlie Carter helped you?
Charlie has extensively discussed investment options and retirement planning, putting me in a situation where I am confident in my financial future
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Not as yet, mostly retirement planning and I am not yet fully retired and needing to draw out funds. I am happy with the investment history to date and and current balance
What could they have done better?
In terms of service and advice, I have been very happy and have no suggestions. Of course lower fees would always be nice, but I'd rather pay for good advice than economise and lose out in the long term.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
I had been a client for many years of Helm Godfrey, which has been taken over by Argentis. After the merger Charlie Carter was assigned as my adviser. Therefore when I became his client I wasn’t initially looking for an advisor.
How has Charlie Carter helped you?
He has given me useful advice and recommendations about inheritance tax planning.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Difficult to answer as the final outcome will be for my heirs to evaluate but an additional investment he recommended has so far performed as expected.
What could they have done better?
I can’t think of anything.
