What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I wanted to start investing for my retirement.

How has Howard Bullock helped you?

Howard discussed with me my own personal circumstances and then asked me to fill in an electronic questionnaire to gauge my level of risk. Howard knew that it was important to me to invest ethically and so he identified funds which met this criteria.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

The stock market has experienced ups and downs over the years but I have seen consistent growth in my investments. The yearly review I have with Howard enables us to look back on the year and to compare the growth in the funds that I currently hold with the growth that comparable funds have experienced.

What could they have done better?

I have always found Howard very responsive whenever I have contacted him about any aspect of investing. I cannot think of anything that he could have done which he isn't already doing.

Howard is a true professional. He and his team were always available to answer questions. Howard managed to obtain a higher quote for a monthly pension payment. The last adviser i had was very friendly and easy going but i felt that i made most of the decisions , Howard is also very easy to get on with but has come up with suggestions that fit with my plan. I like to feel that my advisor is listening to me and then together we can agree on the best way forward, i have found Howard very good in this respect.

What could they have done better?

Its difficult to pick out something that Howard could do better, If i wasnt happy i would have moved on. At the end of the day i guess its about cost against return , if your not seeing any growth on your investments / pension you would not be wanting to pay out loads in commissions. Getting a decent return these days is not easy so we talk, not all the time but when either of us has somthing that may be of interest to the other.
