Between my wife and I we had two final salary pensions and four other pensions and we wanted to know if we had sufficient resources to retire early or at least be in a position that we could survive financially if our hours were cut, or one or both of us were made redundant during the Covid lockdown. We also wanted to know generally what to do with regards our pensions and taking tax-free cash etc. so we began the process of looking for financial advice and for someone who would arrange transfers of funds for us if required.

After looking at our financial position and pension details, Michael explained all the options available to us and the best way forward with the different pension types that we had, the main point being that with our portfolio Michael confirmed that we could retire early if required at the ages of 60 and 63. My late Brother suggested I speak to Michael James as I was just relying on Building Society savings schemes which were producing smaller returns.
