I met with John to assess my finances and planning for the future. John was very open and suggested that for now I would be better off continuing to manage my own finances, and kindly offered some feedback on my current plan. Whilst I am not in a position to benefit from his services yet I feel confident that I can make a positive improvement to my financial situation in the future and will consider seeking further advice around that time

John was extremely helpful and clearly very knowledgeable. He listened carefully to establish our current situation and the things we particularly wished to consider and to look at where his company might be able to add value in our circumstances. He was very friendly and his team were very efficient in setting up our initial appointment.

John listens very carefully to ascertain your real needs. He is an expert on assessing financial risk and coming up with realistic plans to achieve your goals taking your risk profile into account. He is also a very easy person to deal with. Highly recommended.

How has John Abraham helped you?

I signed up with John about 2.5 years ago following a personal recommendation. I had just taken early retirement from the NHS. I wanted help in streamlining my portfolio which consisted of dozens of investments of different types. John asked me to fill in a questionnaire on my attitude to risk, which the re-investment decisions are of course based on. John is very good at explaining complex financial issues in simple terms and very patient! My portfolio took a lot of painstaking sorting out and re-adjusting in line with my risk profile, and I am grateful to John and his assistant Karen for their help with this. My father has also now signed up with John, which makes sense for us both in the arena of IHT planning etc. We have meetings twice a year to review my portfolio and make any necessary adjustments. I also receive a monthly income from my investments.

What could they have done better?

I am not always crystal clear about the fee structure used by John and Transact (the investment 'platform' used), but they seem to be doing a good job so far!

How has John Abraham helped you?

John gives very clear advice and guidance on all financial planning & investments, with due consideration to current circumstances and long-term objectives. Finances are reviewed every 6 months, fully documented with clear recommendations for any changes. In addition, John is very approachable and happy to give advice on general queries regarding pensions, taxation and mortgages; he is invariably very knowledgeable and up-to-date with current legislation on such issues. I consider John is a "safe pair of hands" in financial services and I am very satisfied with his advice and guidance.

Clear, concise advice, with as much or as little detail as I request. Thorough planning with specific medium to long-term goals in mind. Regular portfolio reviews and assessment of attitude to risk. Advice is administered in a calm and clear manner that is not in any way pressured.
