In the short term yes with Lee’s helpful and bespoke consideration of my needs and objectives, and while the future cannot be certain, I feel confident that I’ll remain on track to meet me goals.

Lee has been a fountain of information, very easy going no tough sales talks. He also advised on my husband's pensions for free too again no hard sales.

Lee handles his meetings very well and becomes more of a friend you feel you can ask him anything and he is not offended. He is doing great!

When I retired I wanted good advice to plan for the future, managing day to day on reduced income, coping on pension without having panic attacks and having someone to explain the intricacies of finances.

So far yes. My advisor is available at the end of a phone, emails or home visit.

As a self-employed person without a fixed salary, I was concerned about how financially prepared I was for the future

How has Lee Travis helped you?

Lee helped me to understand my current financial situation. He got me to think about the sort of lifestyle I would like to live in the future and worked out if I was on track to achieve these aims. Lee took time to listen and to gain an understanding our lifestyle and our goals and then produced a detailed financial plan which showed the predicted financial 'journey' through to retirement. Returned to UK after a number of years working in Germany. I was close to retirement and had some money to save / invest.

He did a financial plan for the next few decades. I was able to see how much I needed to live on whilst also spending money on enjoying life.

I had various pensions that I wanted to bring together under one pension scheme.

How has Lee Travis helped you?

Lee contacted the providers, sorted all the paperwork and arranged the transfers in a policy based on my attitude to risk, which was a useful insight for me. He also advised me to look further ahead with regard to arranging wills and LPA's which was helpful.

Yes, all my pensions have been transferred and I was updated each time one transferred over.

What could they have done better?

My Pension fund for the last 20 years had little growth, and this lead me to seek financial guidance elsewhere. I moved my fund to Parkgate and Lee was the adviser that managed my fund - Best decision I made!!

I have been with the company for many years and Lee has taken over managing my pension.

Helped me understand my pension, what he recommended in the short term future arrangements and how I could maximise my pot. He answered all my questions in a way that I could understand which helped me form a decision that is right for me.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Absolutely, in terms of I am comfortable with how my pension is being managed. I have a way to go before I need it, but I am happy with the decisions we have made together and feel comfortable with the level of risk.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Pension transfer from a previous employer

How has Lee Travis helped you?

He was able to transfer the pension over without any issues. We met and spoke regularly about investments and level of risk. He was then able to assist in life cover for our mortgage and separate life cover. He worked directly with the insurance companies ensuring we got the best deal. There were time delays due to COVID but Lee did the chasing around. It was all hassle free for me as a customer.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

As with all investments there is a risk and our investments did go down at the start of COVID but soon went back up. We are happy with our low risk investments. And very happy with Lee.

What could they have done better?

Lee has been amazing. Supporting us face to face at the start and then via email, phone call, zoom and WhatsApp through out lockdown.
