Carried out a financial review of my current situation with a view to maximising returns and to protect against inflation balanced against my attitude to risk. I would also add that I am a cautious invester and due to poor advice received in the past I have a certain skepticism towards ' advisors'. Ben has been very thorough in his explanations and the outlining of risks. At no time have I feel pressuried to make investments that I not entirely comfortable with.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We were messed about terribly by TSB when applying for our mortgage and were not getting anywhere. We rang over and over again to chase our application. No-one got back to us and we had to go through their automated system each time we called which meant long periods on hold. We decided to use a mortgage broker to negotiate on our behalf and a friend recommended Ben to us.

How has Benjamin Clay helped you?

Ben got us our mortgage approved quickly and efficiently and was on the end of the phone or email whenever we had any queries or just wanted to see where we were with our application. He even got us a refund on one of our valuation fees after the first property we went for fell through and we had to get another property valued.
