Prepares well in advance of discussions and explains sometimes complex products/financial instruments in plain and simple terms which can be understood by the layman. Explains other financial options that weren't readily apparent to me so that ultimately I had better quality data on which to base my decisions.

I like the fact that Blair personifies the 'Independent' in 'Independent Financial Advisor' and provides me always with products that are good fit irrespective of provider. He is also very good at making it easy for me to execute decisions we have arrived at jointly. His breadth and depth of expertise is also well appreciated.

It might be good if I was taken to task annually and prompted to do an yearly review of my financial situation.

In my experience over many years Blair Cann has been very professional in the best sense of that word. His work admirably fits the requirement to 'know your client'. He is sensitive, does not hurry, and I consistently feel confident.

What could they have done better?

Perhaps due to my failure to penetrating the matter sufficiently, I am not too sure of the actual costs to conclude on cost/benefit but I am totally confident that Blair Cann would not hold anything back on that aspect. Risk analysis and investment performance have been high quality features of his service.
