What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Initially I was a new home owner after divorce and needed help and advice on planning my pension and investments.

How has Jo Highton helped you?

Jo has helped tremendously with my understanding pensions & investments and given me the help & confidence to invest, save and look towards my retirement. I am currently working on reducing my mortgage and saving on interest .

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

The outcomes so far have excelled my expectations and I’ve managed to save alongside building a healthy pension. I am now in a position to start to reduce my mortgage and hopefully have it paid off many years earlier with thanks to the confidence Jo has given me to keep moving forward

I don’t have anything that I could suggest at this point

Joint pension that was split between my ex husband and myself. I had no idea how to invest it.

Jo has really helped me in all aspects of financial planning. I’ve learnt so much from her and now have confidence to manage my money. I also know she’s always there to help if I need it.

Jo came recommended to us by friends and has been a fantastic advisor, she explains everything in a way that is clearly understood. She takes the time to answer any questions no matter how trivial they may seem and takes the time to ensure that she is there in between appointments. She responds promptly and is very approachable and friendly. We now have a much clearer aim and vision for retirement planning that can be adapted along the way.

Regular, consistent reviews with the same advisor mean that you can develop the conversation and ask for prompts over time - rather than have to introduce your own personal situation to new faces all the time - Jo is that consistency that we need! (and organised!)
