What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was about to retire with a final salary pension and a money purchase pension pot. Needed help in determining what to do with a pension pot.

How has Nicola Orchard helped you?

Listened to my thoughts and how I wanted to use the money, determined my attitude to risk, suggested moving the money to a pension fund, better managed and with less risk. In conversations that we had it was clear she knew her business well and kept up to date with what was happening in the markets.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We needed life insurance to increase my existing plan and in addition my wife needed it in its entirety We also required advice on pensions as ours had been changed by our current pension provider, this needed to be considered when choosing our life insurance plan.

Coming up to taking my pension’s, one was straight fwd final salaries and the 2nd was a money purchase. I wanted advise on investment options for this 2nd pension and to rationalise all our various savings and investments to gain the best medium return possible.
