Didn’t deal with Paul, but another person his company put me in touch with. Had initial interview, but didn’t get a sense of trust. Felt more as though they were just pushing to see what investments I would make as to whether their 1-2% was worth it. Said he’s get back to me with details but never did so assume the feeling must have been mutual

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

After downsizing my wife and I had some capital to invest and the Banks and Building Societies interest rates were very poor to say the least. A friend suggested contacting Paul Hudson to help invest my cash and give me a reasonable return.

How has Paul Hudson helped you?

We told Paul we needed to safeguard our investment with a low risk investment. Paul decided that a Discretionary Fund Managed was the best portfolio for us and could produce between 5% and 7.7% return gross.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Our investment has exceeded our expectations especially with the uncertainty of Brexit the world economy slowing down plus the pandemic occurring over the last 3 years we have certainly come out ahead. We are delighted with the results could not have hoped for more.

What could they have done better?

It is difficult to say how things could have improved due to the circumstances. We can only applaud the returns we have made.

I wanted to invest some money rather than have it sitting in a bank account making no interest. I also used Andrew for my Mortgage a couple of years ago and will be using him again when I'm due to remortgage.
