What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Anna and I have been with Patrick McIntosh at KMG for 25 years, with Jenna in his very efficient yet caring team at KMG. Patrick's father and my uncle were in business together pre-war hence the connection. The transition at the time from local Stockbrokers/tax advisors ceasing business was a wrench.

Jenna has picked up the portfolio when Patrick retired in 2025 as well as handling the move to Shackleton and new office premises. In terms of products, Patrick has described our needs in the phrase, 'we can do nothing more for you'.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

We have yet to have our annual review. She handled the transfer stoically, given our techie confusion between a 'Zoom meeting' and a 'Teams meeting'.

What could they have done better?

We are finding the long term personal relationship with Patrick an obvious loss (who wouldn't!). This is no reflection on Jenna who is extremely personable and helpful.
